"Our stay at Excellence El Carmen was nothing short of phenomenal. The daily restocked mini-bar and excellent housekeeping were a great touch. The dining options were truly impressive. From delicious breakfast buffets to incredible à la carte dinners, every meal felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The variety is fantastic—steakhouse, French, Italian, seafood, Asian—and we genuinely enjoyed every single restaurant we tried. What truly sets Excellence El Carmen apart is the staff. Every employee we interacted with went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The service felt personal, attentive, and consistent throughout the entire resort. "

"Not happy with our Shuttle service. Shuttle center. The day before we leave I made confirmation to pick us on Thursday at 12.30 pm. But the shuttle pick up came at 935 am. We were out of facility at that time. With no choice we have to reschedule the service for 12.30 pm with additional $29. I already paid for the to and fro transportation. The guy who came at 935 am to pick up without any advance notification was so rude. He said if you are not coming in 10 minutes I am leaving. So I paid extra $29 for shuttle even though I pre paid for all these. We are not young people to take this kind of extra stress. I am requesting for that $ 29 extra payment which I have to make forcefully. Otherwise my stay at Riu Repaplica was excellent , staffs were very friendly. Food was good. Hope you will do something for this situation. Beatrees. PATHIYIL "

"My stay here was during Hurricane Melissa so things were different for us. Our first two days on the resort were amazing before the storm hit. The private beach, pools, swim up bar were all amazing, staff was great, very kind and beautiful people. The food was 4/10 only because it was bland and lacked seasoning but I think they make it that way to accommodate all people, there was a good variety though. The staff did great during and after the storm in my opinion, they were definitely prepared for Melissa. Our trip was extended from 4 to 9 days, we had to travel to Kingston to get back to the US it was definitely a vacation for the books! "
