Superbly maintained grounds and a gorgeous beach hut room with semi-outdoor double shower and sun room. The food we had was delicious, the drinks strong and we had the best massage at the spa. A super relaxing long weekend.

The concept is amazing – you feel so close to nature. My bungalow was nestled in the natural landscape, emerging just enough to catch a view of the ocean. The staff were very accommodating, and Romane (Night Shift Supervisor) and Richard (Maintenance Supervisor) went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and safe. Thank you, Team GoldenEye, for your guest-centred approach. It made my stay on your property truly amazing!

There were turtles nesting when we arrived and we were able to go and help release them which was magical. Curry night was also worth it, we were out of season so it was quiet which was really nice

Goldeneye is one of the most beautiful resorts in Jamaica. I think rustic luxury best describes it...you feel like you're in JA when you are here. While in other hotels on the North Coast - you could be anywhere. We'll be back!

I came here to celebrate my birthday and I was greeted with a welcome drink which was called the golden eye which has pineapple and rum inside it so good! They also provided a card and champagne for my bday! They brought our suitcases to the room then the bell guy gave a quick tour of the place before we got to the room. I booked a cottage over the lagoon and it has a beautiful view and our kayak that we can use around the lagoon! The room was nice and clean and they have the shower outdoors and the bed was so comfortable. Housekeeping comes to clean your room twice a day one in the afternoon and one in evening. So the restaurant we ate at the most was bizot for breakfast, lunch or dinner! One of the nights they had curry which was buffet style and that was good! Just keep in mind all the food is very expensive and wished they had more other food options but the ones they had were good. I used the spa once while I was there and got a hot stone massage which was relaxing. They have 3 pools, two beaches and our lagoon swim in! I stayed here the whole trip and didn’t leave the resort and it was much needed for rest and relaxation for a vacation! If you needed anything you can text to make any spa reservations, place a room service order, or ask any questions on what’s app!!! One thing I loved about this resort is how quiet and not crowded this place is I saw maybe like 8 people total around this resort!

Exquisite Estate & One-of-a-Kind Service From the absolute moment you arrive, the hospitality is unmatched. The staff have a magical way of making you feel like you are the only people on the property. Between the world-class service, the top-tier amenities, and the breathtaking grounds, this estate is truly one of a kind. Endless Activities & Wildlife You could never get bored here. The resort features two pristine beaches and three gorgeous pools to choose from. For activities, we loved the complimentary snorkeling, paddleboarding, and kayaking right off the shore. A unique highlight was the on-site turtle sanctuary, where we were lucky enough to spot turtles up close—an unforgettable experience. Magnificent Spa & Dining When it's time to unwind, the spa is magnificent and offers a world-class relaxation experience. Property was amazing, staff amazing, we had Pops as a driver and he’s highly recommended to request he knows so much about Jamaica and it’s almost like a tour driving to and from the airport Only thing I have is only 1 restraint open for dinner, they could rotate the menus or have more specials, same thing every night Besides the food we will be back for sure, so relaxing and beautiful environment!!!! 5 stars!!

GoldenEye is our favourite escape, it’s a true paradise on earth with the most beautiful beaches, water sport activity, restaurants and great service. We even had the most amazing room facing the sea. Couldn’t dream of a better place!

We stayed in a 2 bed beach villa , the villa was very good , lovely location and well serviced. The beach and lagoon areas are far superior to the beach huts and for a couple the lagoon cottages are probably the way to go. The overall resort is beautiful and an interesting property to stay at . Sadly it was let down by very poor food choice as the main restaurant Gazebo only opened one night during our six night stay. The food and service at Gazebo were very good and comparable to Jamaica Inn where we had stayed the previous week. The rest of the time only the casual restaurant was open with poor food choices compounded by offering a reduced menu from the norm and on occasions poor quality. Some of the staff in particular the beach staff were excellent but when we raised food quality issues it was met with indifference . The service improved when the owner arrived and managers became more visible . Overall given the price point for staying at GoldenEye the food offering was very poor and spoilt our stay.

I have stayed here before but i only returned as i wanted to show my friend the place. Check in staff were okay and breakfast staff were very good and even made us Jamaican chocolate tea. However check out was lousy. We dealt with a sour individual who did not know how to say please or thank you. I did tell him off. This idiot shoukd know that this is the last impression guest have of the property. Its living off its reputation but is over priced and over rated.

Relaxing

There's nothing my little family hates more than a vacation resort filled with concrete and loud music. Goldeneye was everything we love. Lush green spaces, lots of places to walk, pool and beach options that aren't overcrowded and extremely pleasant staff, who made our 10month old feel like a celebrity. Definitely saving for our next trip and trying to get friends on board. Food is a bit expensive.

a beautiful resort in a tranquil setting, staff were excellent and friendly. Wifi reception was bit mixed across the resort. The shop was expensive in my opinion. 50usd for a cotton printed t-shirt - hot price.
