"This property was perfect for what we needed for a quiet family (2 adults, 2 adult kids) vacation and a great getaway. Rooms had ac. Property had a hot tub which was great in the evening after a hike in the Canyon. The kitchen was really well stocked with what you needed for cooking. We did 2 dinners plus breakfasts and lunches. Beach gear of 4 chairs, 2 unbrellas, 2 boogie board and 2 small ice chest were great. Furniture and beds were very comfortable. The location is fantastic for the canyon, uncrowded beaches, departure point for a boat tour and some great food spots in Waimea. The hosts were responsive and great!Not the spot if you want to be in the middle of lots of hustle and bustle, crowded beaches and tons of tourists. We definitely will be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this house, conveniently located within walking distance of the beach, a grocery store, shave ice, and restaurants. The home was comfortable, the beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the backyard was beautiful. The property is a bit more worn than it appears in the photos, especially the outdoor amenities. Also, although the listing says this is a beachfront property, it is not on the beach. There is another home and a road between this home and the beach. There were several unhoused people using the beach while we were there, so we didn't play on the beach with our kid as expected. This was a good home base for visiting Waimea Canyon, and we appreciated that the vibe wasn't as busy or touristy as the other towns we visited."

"The home could not have been set in a better location. The city of Waimea was close enough to go for food and groceries, and yet far enough way to feel as though you were disconnected from the hustle and bustle and other tourists. Waking up to the Pacific Ocean directly across the road from the home while sitting on the front porch with your coffee was a wonderful start to each day, and you have multiple porches to choose from that are all furnished with beautiful couches, chairs, and tables. This home was perfect for our family getaway."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This vacation home put the exclamation point on our vacation. It had everything you need and more. The house layout was by far the best vacation home I have stayed at, and I have stayed at different vacation homes in many parts of other countries as well as the United States. If you’re looking for entertainment, it has it; relaxation, it has that too. If you want to relax on your vacation and feel like you’re at your own home, I highly recommend it. We not only ate at local restaurants, but when we wanted to cook at home, Chef Allen Gula represented in the kitchen what this house has to offer, as well as the grilling capabilities outside. Will rent this house again when we come back next year. Customer service from months of planning to the day I landed was 5-star. Any questions or concerns I had while I was there were 5-star—no hesitation in recommending my entire experience to anyone."
