"Clean comfortable and very quiet. Not noticeably busy at all. Rather dated interior & no food served at the hotel. No breakfast lunches or evening meals despite notices outside saying hotel has a restaurant. It doesn’t. Nevertheless it offers reasonable comfortable sleeping accommodation and there are cafe’s & restaurants within a short distance. "

"I had a lovely stay at the Listers Arms. The location was ideal for walking to the cove and further on the Pennine Way. The food was excellent both at breakfast and in the evening. The room was maybe a little tired and there were some minor cleanliness issues around the shower tray. These would not prevent me from a return visit. The quality, efficiency and friendliness of the staff could not be faulted and the whole team at the inn should be congratulated. "

"Great food, great staff, lovely place to be. Our room was close to either the central heating boiler or ventilation or something else for the hotel, so was a little annoying throughout the night as it never went off. Bed was lovely, big TV, nice facilities however we had no milk for the tea/coffee machine. The surrounding areas is beautiful and we had some lovely walks. Apart from the small issues we had will study again. "
