"Clean and tidy room but the decor is looking a bit tired and the bathroom shower a bit mouldy in places. Good breakfast with lots of choice and decent value for money. Overall a nice hotel with a good bar and restaurant, good last minute deals, good location, Would stay again. Only negative really is that the parking is overpriced."

"Excellent 3 night stay the room was very spacious a little dated but spotlessy clean and comfortable. Bathroom was also large and spotless with bath and over shower. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The staff are very welcoming and very helpful. The big bonus was being allowed to park my car early on the check-in day and check in later. "I made things complicated by having two separate third-party bookings for one night each (separate because plans changed, third-party because I can use Tesco clubcard vouchers) but they were able to arrange for me to move into an (upgraded!) room instead of having to check out and back in later. I enjoyed a lovely ride along the nearby Leeds to Liverpool canal."
