The Plough was in a lovely location. All the staff couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast and evening meals really good. Bedroom had everything you needed and room clean. Will definitely go back.
Booked just for one night so apart from sleeping there we really only experienced the breakfast. Must say this was excellent with good quality ingredients and quick service.
But disappointed that we were unable to get a snack in the afternoon as the chefs had left and not back until dinner prep.
Room and bathroom was very clean. Parts of the hotel were well worn particularly stair carpet
Amazing place. Great food, great beer, smart & comfortable room, huge beer garden, plenty of parking, helpful staff, in a lovely village. Will return asap.
Fantastic hotel, beautifully kept rooms with great bathroom, bed, TV and extras.
Loads of on-site parking.
Helpful and friendly staff.
Fabulous food and drink available.
Perfect location for doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks.
This place is brilliant. Tucked away in the middle of no where, is this gorgeous pub and restaurant. Lovely rooms, terric staff and pub food taken to top restaurant levels. Craft beers on tap with excellent choice.
Enjoyed 3 days but need to go back soon.
Lovely room very comfortable with fabulous bathroom and even a coffee machine. Excellent food and very friendly and helpful staff. Altogether a great stay.
Great staff friendly and helpful, nice relaxing atmosphere, very nice breakfast, only two very small suggestions would be nice to have longlife milk sachets or similar in the room save having to go down stairs and ask for milk, and could do with a shelf in the shower no where to put shampoo ect when showering
We only stayed for one night but had our evening meal and breakfast which were both fantastic. Staff were very helpful on reception and in the restaurant.
A lovely old property with a cosy feel and an open fire in the evening. my only negative was the room could have done with an repaint to keep up the standard but the room was lovely and clean. I would stay here again.

Stayed at The Plough for one night and can’t recommend highly enough!
The staff were very warm and welcoming, the pub has a nice atmosphere, the room was great and the evening meal and breakfast were delicious!
Great (2nd) one night stay at the Plough for a family get together. Comfortable, clean rooms, excellent dining, good choice of beers and wines, highly recommended and will return
We had a one night stay here and evening meal. The pub is lovely and our meal was amazing. All the staff were really friendly and efficient. A great place to stay as a base for walking in the area - thoroughly recommend
We booked two rooms as a family celebration for my husband’s birthday. This is the third time my husband and I have stayed and as ever the food, room, bar, friendliness of the staff as well as email communication was top class. I look forward to our next visit!
