"Pros: The property is well maintained and the room is clean. It’s a stunningly beautiful property. The food is very fresh and clearly prepared with care. Cons: The hotel management is not good, and it really affected our experience. 1. We did not receive airport pickup despite filling out their pre-arrival form. When we arrived, our kids had to sleep without pillows the first night because the sofa bed was not made, even though we had requested this in advance. 2. We had issues at check-in because our room was not available due to a “leak.” We were downgraded to a lesser room for the first night. A “concierge” promised us free spa treatment and water park bracelets as compensation, but it turned out he was actually a sales person trying to get us to buy into their vacation plan (Melia Circle). There were no free spa treatments initially. We had to argue with the front desk for four days in a row just to get them to honor what was promised. It was exhausting and frustrating. Every time we asked to speak to a manager, we had to explain everything again to a new person. I eventually had to call Expedia to file a complaint, and even they could not get in touch with the hotel to resolve the issue. 3. Do not believe the “free credits” like the $200 resort credit, $50 wine credit, or $100 spa credit listed on your reservation. They look like perks for Expedia guests, but the front desk either doesn’t know about them or refuses to honor them. These are actually tied to their timeshar"

"We had a toilet that didn't flush properly and a dripping bathtub faucet that never got fixed the whole time we were there despite telling the Level lobby and our concierge. Multiple maintenance workers visited our room to look but nothing actually got fixed. We had to ask one of the maintenance staff to leave their plunger in our room so we didn't have to call the office every time the toilet was clogged. There is a group Whatsapp number you can contact for questions but my messages were never answered. We were told we would get a new room because of the plumbing issues so we spent an afternoon packing up our things, but when we got to the Level office to get our new room keys we were told there were no rooms available. The staff flat out lied to us about getting a new room, presumably to get rid of us and hope we wouldn't come back, and did not seem to care. There were bright spots during our time here, such as the well-maintained gardens and great service from a few restaurant servers, but overall the experience was not good. We will not return and I do not recommend this resort. "
