"This resort had so many things to do, I was never bored i my 7 day stay. They had great service, food, entertainment for th ewhole family. They had a sports bar for my husband, a kids club, a water park, and kiddie pools for he kids. They had a casino, and many stores for us who love to shop. It was amazing. "

"The resort was beautiful and extremely clean. It was hard to take a bad picture anywhere on the property. Very large property so even though the hotel was full, it didn't feel crowded at all. We rarely had a problem finding a beach chair the whole week. Maid service was really good as well. Always a clean room and restocked drinks each day. We tried most of the restaurants but we were not in the Unique package so we had to try and reserve on our own without a butler. Teppanyaki was already booked for the week by the time we checked in but everything else was available at some point during the week. Italian was our favorite but the dessert at El Charro was amazing with the melted chocolate ball over carrot cake. Coffee shop was great but the coffees are pretty small so we started ordering 2 at a time. There were only 2 issues we had at the resort. The first was the inconsistency of service. There were times when we had people constantly waiting on us at restaurants or by the pool and other days we got no drinks at all and had to settle for water with the meals at the buffets. You just never know what you are going to get on any given day. Most of the drinks rarely had much alcohol in them and not always accurate. The other issue was insect bites in the room. My daughter woke up one morning to 15 bites on her legs overnight. We asked for a new room and eventually got one but it took a lot of effort and convincing to do so. Overall though, a great resort. "

"OMG!! My stay at Whalá was fantastic, cute family oriented and AFORDABLE hotel with the most approachable and happy personnel. The hotel and all areas were clean, a great variety of food and delicious, nice evening shows! Can’t wait to go back! One thing I’d like to add - bathrooms at least the one I stayed in could use an updgrade, other than that , FANTASTIC!!"

"Where can I even begin. The property is amazing. Spacious, comfortable and full of amenities. Beyond the property, however, the hosts and their support staff on premises were well beyond our expectations. In preparation for the trip, the communication and flexibility was exceptional. Once we arrived, we worked with the property’s driver who picked us up and helped us get anywhere we needed to go. We opted to have their in house Chef prepare meals for us and they blew our minds. We had dinner out one night, the food was good but nothing compared to what Chef Raymond prepared for us. We also opted for them to provide drinks and the bar was always stocked, any special requests were discussed and fulfilled in no time. I have received notes from every guest in our party saying this is one of the best trips they’ve ever had and it wouldn’t have been possible without Anders, Karen, David and the Villa Palma team at Group Palmera."
