"Lovely hotel with beautiful features. Our Deluxe room had the most incredibly comfortable bed and feather pillows so sleep was excellent. We ate in the bar which was good, plentiful and really tasty - although it took a longer time to come - but that just meant it was cooked for us to order. "

"What a great hotel. Can't say enough positive things about my experience. Room was lovely, clean, good value, great location and ambience, but the service and food were even better. I had early starts both mornings of my stay and it was not too much bother for Helen on the front desk and Paul?, the chef to open the kitchen slightly early for me. The food was wonderful and good value and Helen couldn't have been more helpful. This is what an independent hotel / restaurant should be like. Thanks to the team for a wonderful stay. "First Room we had was clean and tidy, but the aircon was not working. Raised it with the staff and they gave us a fan straight away and arranged for us to change rooms for the rest of the stay. Second room was perfect, was clean and tidy as well and had everything you would expect, breakfast was good as well. Staff that really make it, aways friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome for the length of our stay."
