"This house was lovely and perfect for a restful trip away from the city. Close enough to Boone to go into town but great just to chill in the whole time. The screen doors were a wonderful touch as there were a couple of light rain storms that came through during our stay and it was wonderful to have a breeze and hear the rain. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely be back!"

"I absolutely loved this place! It was rustic and charming. The check-in was so easy, as was check-out. Communication from the owners was terrific. The location was quiet and it was nice to sit on the porch and listen to the creek. The outside of the cabins might need a little TLC. The bonus was the history of this place! People used to come from all over in the late 1800's and early 1900's to drink water from the spring, which was said to have healing properties. The hotel that used to be there burned down, but the cabins remain. What was cool was that I read about Healing Springs (the old hotel) in a museum display years ago and it was such a a cool surprise to learn that these cabins are one in the same. I would definitely stay here again and I've already recommended it to friends. Oh! And you can go get yourself some water from the spring while you're there!"
