  • Whether you are looking to have a romantic getaway for two or to make new family memories, The Cozy Cabin, a Mountain Retreat is the perfect place for you! This gem of a cabin is perched on the hillside with everything you need for the ultimate retreat. The Mountain Retreat is a wonderfully cozy cabin situated on several acres deep in the mountains of North Carolina, in close proximity to Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson, and Wilkesboro. The Mountain Retreat is the PERFECT spot for a romantic retreat for 2 or a small family. There is 1 bedroom with a queen bed and a queen-size sofa bed in the living room. There is also a memory foam rollaway twin bed. There is room for an inflatable queen-size air mattress if needed (it would be very cozy). Just a stone's throw from the cabin there is the pleasant sound of a mountain stream. The terrain surrounding the cabin is full of plants, flowers, shrubs, and fruit trees. We even have a gazebo with a swing for you to enjoy! The Mountain Retreat is just a few miles away from the Blue Ridge Parkway and is located in a charming cabin community called Creekside Estates. There are only a handful of cabins in the neighborhood, so you can rest assured to experience a most special stay. The Mountain Retreat is located 15 minutes from Boone and 20 minutes to West Jefferson and 45 minutes to Blowing Rock. The Blue Ridge Parkway is only 4 miles from the cabin.

Cozy Cabin

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely like to plan to come back. This cabin was absolutely gorgeous, and accommodated us and our dog perfectly. The cabin is stocked with everything you could possibly need and is a 15 minute ride to Boone.

Cozy Cabin May 2023

Beautiful, secluded cabin. The property has great amenities like a full kitchen and a fire pit. It is close to Boone NC and many local attractions such as the Linville Caverns and Grandfather Mountain. I would whole heartedly recommend this property for your next trip.

Cozy Quaint Cabin

Mt. Retreat Cozy Cabin was a lovely, quaint cabin. I really enjoyed listening to the wind and creek. They have a gazebo with a swing that made it restful in the evening to sit and listen to nature. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. There is a handicap tub/shower that I enjoyed. (I now will get one) We were there 4 nights and were truly relaxed when we went home. Perfect place for a couple wanting to relax and enjoy nature. We went to Jefferson, Wilkesboro , and Boone and still rested a lot. Thanks for a wonderful visit.

Richard was great to communicate with and very hospitable. The cabin is small, but cozy as advertised. I was there during February. There was beautiful snow on the ground and the development had been recently plowed. Richard provided wood for the wonderful fireplace. It's peaceful and quiet up there, highly recommend.
