"My partner and I spent three nights here for the festival, and it's a clean student accommodation. The good thing is the reception is 24 hours, and the room is clean. Also, it's a walking distance to the most sightseeing spots in Edinburgh. However, the twin bed is difficult for two adults even though I am small. "I have stayed at this hostel many times but always before with other people-= so it was especially great to have a room to myself - with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfast was good and coffee was too .The last time i stayed the road outside was being converted for the tram lines-but now that the tram runs almost to the door from Waverley station and the airport it is excellent. The room was clean modern and a lot better than the hotel I stayed in for the rest...

"We had a lovely stay at Abbey Strand Apartments. The apartment was very clean and was very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Although the apartment is quite small it was a perfect size for us as a couple. The only negative was that the information regarding check-in wasn’t very clear as to which doors we had to use. "Absolutely beautiful stay. The lodge itself was gorgeous, in a great setting and the views are spectacular. Quiet and peaceful, no disturbance whatsoever. The surroundings are just spectacular. We mentioned it was our little minimoon and they very kindly left us some chocolates and a bottle of fizz. Amazing stay exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer xxxx"
