"Fantastic two night stay at this hotel. Large spacious rooms, nicely renovated and well equipped with fridge and oven/microwave. Super convenient location with tons of dining options around. Do note that there are very few parking spots with the hotel for 18 pounds a night."

"Overall, we were very happy with our three-night stay at this hotel. The location is excellent - central but off the main drag so it was quiet in the evening. Our room was really spacious and had just enough furniture for comfort. The bed was very comfortable; in fact, it was the best night's sleep I've experienced in a hotel for quite some time. The decor was simple, but fine. The bathroom was fully kitted out and big enough. We had a bath with a shower over it, which was fine for us but may be a consideration for those with accessibility issues. Slight grumbles include that the bathroom had some black mould on the ceiling and the mirror was very rusty (not a good look!). Not really a negative, but maybe something that could be improved is the outside areas. Our room was on the lower ground floor and the window looked out onto a very small close with stairs leading up to the terraced gardens. The close is seriously neglected, with a lot of rubbish just lying around. It wouldn't take much to tidy this small area up and stick in a couple of flower pots to cheer it up a bit. There is also huge potential with the larger garden area - it all feels a bit neglected and tired - a real missed opportunity to make the hotel feel like a more boutique/luxury experience. "
