"We stayed for 3 nights for a leisure trip. The bistro was closed for refurbishment but there’s heaps of good places around to eat, within easy walking distance. A free car park right outside our door was appreciated. The staff were lovely. We stayed in May, so the temperature outside was cool, but the heat pump worked perfectly in the room. Only thing that could be improved really would be a heated towel rail, but that’s not necessary. "

"We liked that it was nice and quiet at night, going to see the glow worms, and other activities you could do. Waking up to the sounds of birdlife"

"Good value for money. We had room with queen and a bunker for three of us. Also had a kitchenette within. Bathroom/Toilet was shared with one other room. Was very tidy, the best pillows n linen. Very centrally located. Would definitely stay again."

"The rooms are up narrow stairs. I got sick of walking up and down the stairs. The kitchen needs renovating. Maybe some pot plants and some new flooring would make this area more inviting and less tired and dirty looking. The room was clean and had a good ensuite and a TV. This was good. But with the window open, the room door rattled all night. It is right in the middle of the town and above a bar. So there is quite a bit of traffic and bar noise"

"Very friendly staff. Perfect for the quick stop over and later check in times for that stop between destinations. Perfect for what we needed. Basic but good facilities for a short stay."
