"Hotel has a bit of character .Yes it's a bit dated but the rooms are clean and tidy.Breakfast is nice but seems a slow process so expected a bit of a wait. "

"Fantastic Hotel with super friendly and helpful staff especially Henry in the bar who was very welcoming and a great member of the team. We had a suite that was absolutely perfect! The Hotel is spotless in every area. Breakfast was lovely with so many options you certainly won't be left hungry! We also had dinner at the hotel and would definitely recommend. The food was delicious and the portions are plentiful. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel and will definitely be returning. "

"Lovely quirky hotel right on the river . beautiful views from the bar . Lovely food and fantastic staff . We loved the indoor swimming pool and spa it also had a gym . fabulous walks . Super relaxing stay . We will definitely return "

"Woodlands was welcoming on arrival. Room was comfortable and clean with usual kettle, coffee, tea. Good size tv. Breakfast was really good. Great choice of cold and hot food (cooked perfect). Nothing is too much trouble. Close to shops etc. Would definitely stay again in this great location."

"Amazing stay, room we had hadn’t been refurbished but it was fine, bathroom clean and great shower. Tea coffee and biscuits very welcome. Friendly staff. Perfect location for the town centre. Lovely hot breakfast with toast tea or coffee all made fresh. Just one point the single beds are bit too soft on the edges and you could easily fall out. Will definitely return Thankyou for a great stay. Didn’t have eve meal at the Hotel so can’t comment on that."

"Customer service was great. Location was perfect. Breakfast was amazing. View and everything. Price was very reasonable. We paid around 120 for 3 people in a family room for on3 night. Good deal i would say."
