Absolutely perfect! Kevin and Tracey have created such a lovely B&B. The decor, the extra touches like plenty of coffee and tea choices in the room, lovely furnishings, breakfast so lovingly made and Kevin and Tracey are so lovely. They’ve gone the extra mile and have given us the perfect stay. Close to shops and restaurants, transport and lake ferries. We could not have asked for a nicer experience.

Hosts at Cedar Manor are excellent

We spent three nights at St John's lodge and were glad that we had. The establishment is professionally run but with a very homely and friendly feel. It is located within easy walking distance of restaurants and the lake foreshore but is far enough away to ensure a great night's rest. Real value for money.

We had a pleasant stay. The room is big, clean and tidy. All the staffs are friendly and courteous. Susan at the reception made us feel very welcome. Breakfast is generous and good. We have no issue with carpark although it is on a first come first serve basis. Highly recommended.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Holly Lodge. Had a lovely large room with views along the street. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Staff were great. Property is attractive inside outside could do with a bit of repair but nothing major. In a very peaceful Hamlet.

Fantastic stay. So much character. Food was great, room very spacious, comfortable and homely. Bathroom really modern. Toiletries to notch. Most notably the staff are exceptional.

We stayed 3 nights at Norcroft and we were very happy with our choice of accommodation. The room and bathroom were well adequate with the bed linen and towels very clean. Mark and Paula were very dedicated and friendly hosts. The breakfast arrangement was second to none! I am confident recommending Norcroft Guest house for anyone visiting the Lake District area. We stayed 3 nights. The ambience was excellent with lake views and expansive grounds. The hotel was not too big, and the food was excellent quality. The staff were attentive and delivered top rate service. The room was comfortable with excellent quality bedding, bathroom towels and accessories.

Vickie was so welcoming and very helpful, going out of her way to sort out our parking. The property is beautiful, comfortable and cosy and immaculate. Just a short walk into Penrith’s centre and all the pubs and shopping. Just up the road is an M&S food hall. I would love to stay here anytime.
