"Carlos (front desk) and Fred (A/C repair) were helpful and friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed. Everything including the beach was convenient. Parking was easy. Carts to help with luggage were available. This was a very enjoyable stay.
Note: the breakfast buffet may seem eslightly xpensive, but it is a good deal compared to other places to eat in the area."
"Overall was a good stay just a quick overnight. The only complaints would be the room floor was a bit gritty as if it wasn't cleaned well. The toilet had a moldy ring at the water line. Impression on that was the room hadn't been stayed in for a bit. It is a very nice hotel close to the beach access. Overall was happy, beds were comfortable. Staff was very pleasant. Would stay again would have just liked to feel a bit better going bare foot around the room. "
"Close to all the shops and dining. Comfortable room. Easy check in. We were able to walk to all of our destinations. We also did the sailboat sunset tour and was able to walk to it. "
"My husband and I love staying here for our long weekends at the OBX. The close proximity to the beach, piers for fishing, shopping and great food ,including the in house restaurant makes this hotel an easy choice. "
"We stayed on the third floor of the tower and had a perfect view of the ocean and sunrise. The balcony shielded the wind somewhat. The location of Shutters is perfect for walking or short drives to restaurants. We could see the Kitty Hawk memorial from the parking lot side of the property."
