"I accidentally left milk in the fridge. Sorry. The clock in the kitchen is non-functional. It ticks, but doesn't move. I found some "presents" left from a previous cat guest. Left them in the bedroom. The dock was exactly what I wanted. I spent hours out there and hours more on the screened porch. Excellent time of the year to be on the water. I wish I had more time for the quiet reset. Many happy memories of stillness. I want two more days! I can still feel the wind on my skin. Structure issue: The low-step shower, not the tub shower, is seeing leakage/seepage into the floor structure. The floor structure is not designed to resist this water infiltration. Your floor is quickly delaminating and weakening. It should be reinforced and a water-resistant sub-floor be installed before someone steps through the floor into the crawlspace. I could feel it already starting to give."

"Overall, this property was excellent and makes for a nice, quiet retreat from busy life. It’s an extremely cozy, well decorated, 3-bedroom cabin setting right next to the water. The views are wonderful and the ability to relax next to the water on the home’s personal dock is flat out amazing. My only criticisms are 1) that there are a lot of bugs outside, and while this is normal in that area, the place could use a bug zapper or some other control mechanism. 2) This is definitely an out-of-the-way location, so it would behoove you to utilize the well stocked kitchen by bringing food items to cook while there. The few local restaurants operate when they feel the need and often close early.Like I said though, it was a great experience and I highly recommend the place! "

"This really is the best spot to enjoy all of Elizabeth City and the area. The views of the river and condo layout make staying at home very relaxing. Location also affords easy access to downtown and route to the beach. We would choose to stay there again on next trip to the area."

Stunning interiors, The waiter at breakfast was such a joy.Attended to so many sweet details in serving the breakfast.Such a cultured, knowledgeable and friendly conversationalist.
