"An absolutely lovely place to stay in Historic Downtown Washington. Parking was convenient - I really like having an assigned space. I wish we could have spent more time there but we were just making a quick trip. Plenty of shopping, restaurants, bars and attractions within walking distance, especially the waterfront. We will definitely be back!"

Steps from the water with a private dock, a big relaxing porch & great amenities

"Great spot for relaxation! Our host, Daryl, was friendly and accessible if we needed anything. Our dog loved both the manicured lawn AND watching the wildlife around the river. The living space was so cozy and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. We ate several meals “at home” and using the nice patio grill. VERY comfortable bed! The outside patio has a roof and a sliding screen gate to contain your kiddo or pup. Depending on the season, bring mosquito repellent. The air conditioning unit was remote control and kept the space very cool! Due to the lower ceiling, the home doesn’t have a ceiling fan so we brought a box fan that helped circulate the air. This space was exactly like the photos, book it now!"

Beautiful home on Blounts Bay ready for your next family vacation

10/10 Excellent
"This home met our needs above and beyond what we saw in the ad. There was enough room for 12 people including for the kids. Although it was in the pictures, there was a full basement with a full kitchen, enclosed back porch with sitting area and then there’s more. The outside was quiet, and the views were out of this world. Beautiful and Relaxing. We will be back again."
