This is our 4th or 5th stay here. The staff are always very helpful and courteous. The common areas and inside and out are starting to look a bit worn. They just finished a renovation to the restaurant and reception area. It made the restaurant feel more like a restaurant, less open to the hustle and bustle of the reception area and the passage through to the pools. Someone in management decided to remove the 'free' coffee from the reception area. To get coffee now, one must go to the reception desk and ask for k-cups/cream/sugar/etc. and return to their room to make it, or pay for it using a vending machine in the lobby. I'm not sure this is saving the hotel any $. Our room was nice. It could have used another lamp or 2. The vertical blinds were in desperate need of replacement. We noticed some areas that could have been cleaned. Overall, we had a nice relaxing stay. Location is convenient and parking is easy. Oh, and I also would like to see hotels have "adult only" hours for the pools and hot tub. We've never been able to enjoy these amenities here.

I was in town on business. I had stayed here years ago and was very impressed. I finished work sooner than expected and attempted to check in at 2 pm, not the posted 4 pm. I was told my room was not ready yet to come back later. I checked back at 3pm and was told harshly, check in was 4pm. . I sat in the parking lot in my vehicle for 1 1/2 hours watching about 30-40 other customers walk in with luggage and not return to their vehicles to wait. I finally called the Hilton reservation number and was told they would resolve the issue. I was in the room within ten minutes. I am a rewards member and expected better customer service. I will not return here. Definitely not up to the normal Holton standards!

It was beautiful but the water pressure was awful in the shower and the hot tub was broken and we were not notified until we went to get in the pool and realized the hot tub was freezing. Hot tub was a huge reason we wanted a night away , so this brought the experience down.
