"Arrived late at our stay and then realised that we had in fact booked for the weekend after! Disaster after a 6 hour drive and very little options. We apologised and explained the error to our host. Amazingly and also luckily the host immediately went to work setting up an alternative glamping pod for us to stay in. "Lovely location…breakfast was very nice with good options ..we booked The Beach but were given a room at The Edge. Which is one building away…walked over for breakfast. The room was honestly so small…we had a couple of cabin bags and there wasn’t any floor space for them…no where to sit…nowhere to put anything in the bathroom…shampoo was on the floor of the shower as no shelves…felt claustrophobic in the room with a view over Sainsbury’s car park. No sound proofing …we could hear bathrooms all around. There is parking but it is tricky and we needed to pay to park at the beginning of our stay…It’s a premium price to stay here and just felt really disappointed as had been recommended by friends. Tried to take a photo to demonstrate but difficult to do in such a small space."
