"This was a return visit as we loved the friendly staff and locals. Special treat for our Irish Wolfhound because my wife was on antibiotics so timing meant she couldn't have her breakfast... so guess who got it instead. Very happy dog though I think the chef felt his skills were not being tested given she likes her eggs raw. So yes they are very dog friendly, and the food for us humans was excellent as well."

"Really nice clean comfortable room, good large en-suite too, did have a problem with the shower but all was sorted. Friendly staff on check in and during my stay. Good WiFi and amenities with microwave, toaster, kettle etc. very comfortable stay. "

Every member of staff we met were warm and friendly and the cooked breakfast was superb. Appledore is such a lovely destination and a stay at the Royal George makes it all the more special.
