"Amazing place of such high quality. Stayed before but next door. I his is now our preferred cottage though.
Only down side would be the two single beds. Would have been nice to have had them pushed together as we were two sets of adults "
"A charming village inn with comfortable and spacious room, amble and tasty traditional breakfast, friendly and welcoming staff & locals, and delicious evening meals. Great value for money too."
"Beautiful property, great setting by the river, nice walk along the river to the village, everything perfect, very friendly and helpful host, would recommend and hope to return."
"Despite the wet and windy conditions we really enjoyed our stay and managed to get around to our favourite spots. Steve & Julie provided a lovely starter pack to see us over the first 24 hours. Cottage is superb, with all the amenities you would expect at home. Would recommend it as a base to tour the countryside."

"We had a fabulous 4 night stay at the Holly Bush. As soon as we stepped into the pub, we received a warm greeting from the new owners and staff.
The pub is at the heart of the community and welcomes a mix of both locals and guests, which makes it a special place to stay. Everyone seems relaxed and happy to chat to each other which makes for a really pleasant atmosphere.
The chef is excellent and cooks a variety of dishes which he constantly updates. We were so impressed that we ate there every evening. There was a great choice of well kept local ales.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and we slept well every night.
Thanks for a lovely stay.
Claire & Keith "
"Considering the age of the building, our room was excellent, as was our breakfast. Thank you to our lovely hosts (hope the wdding went well) for a very enjoyable stay."
"Delightful stay with incredibly friendly & willing staff, nothing was too much trouble. A mixture of old and new & my room(in the garden block) was spacious, modern & a lovely view from the patio over the cricket pitch & down to the Tyne. Food was very good,I ate in the bar but you can go more formal if you want.
Hotel is in an enviable position, just outside Bellingham so access to roads easy. Even an indoor pool. If you like comfort, without formality,I would highly recommend."
