"The room felt very old and not worth the high price. I honestly don’t understand how this is considered a 4-star property. You expect a romantic Venetian stay, but the atmosphere is far from romantic - it feels tired and outdated. The hotel has a large living room, but it feels more like a museum than a palace, the kind of place where you’re afraid to touch anything. The hotel clearly needs major renovation. Breakfast was disappointing—closer to an American motel buffet than authentic Italian...

"It is a beautiful little town with a lot of grand old houses. The accommodation was at the back of the property away from road noise with a lovely central courtyard. Tastefully decorated & a large shower which is a find in Italy. Walk to fabulous restaurant & town shops."
