"My friend and I stayed 6 nights on the 18th floor. Only two elevators are used for floors 1-18. One had been down before we checked in, and was still when we checked out this morning. So very long waits to go up and down. Housekeeping wouldn’t always give use clean washcloths (even though we got fresh hand and bath towels), so we had to call to get clean ones. There is a $45/night resort fee on top of the price you pay on Expedia. This allows you to get 10% of a few restaurants in the hotel. I came to Manhattan to tour the city sites and restaurants-not stay and eat in theirs. So not happy that this isn’t made clear when booking your reservation!"

"This review is specifically regarding the conduct of the night manager, Kiefer Braizer. His handling of a guest situation was hostile, dismissive, and entirely unprofessional, culminating in me being removed from the hotel by security at 2am without justification. I was then charged $300 for damages I did not cause and did not authorize. This reflects a serious lapse in judgment and raises concerns about how guests are treated at this property. The matter is currently being disputed and escalated."

"The location of the hotel was perfect for our trip for walking to all the theaters (and time square) and central park. The elevators were an issue, it took awhile to get them and they don't fit many people so there were lines frequently. The lobby was frequently congested. The rooms are typical NYC - minimal space but we were just sleeping there so no bog deal. It was mostly clean, although the housekeeping carts crowded the tiny hallways."
