"I have stayed this weekend in room 113 - I have to say firstly what amazing staff! The bloke who cleaned my room helped me numerous times with locking myself out. "Very good a-la-carte breakfast. Nice location, close to the old town and few minutes walk from the train station. Complementary, delicious cookies in the room. Charming hotel and bedrooms, one issue is that water was dropping in the bedroom from the ceiling, from time to time. I notified the reception so I hope they fixed the issue. "

"Perfectly situated hotel, easily walkable into Bowness and all its attractions. The Belsfield has beautiful grounds and although maybe could do with a slight refresh it’s still a beautiful hotel with lots of charm and character. Breakfast was good and speedily served. The staff are polite and attentive and big shout out to the barman on Saturday evening who made me the best mai tai I’ve ever tasted. The only issue we had was parking related, we arrived at about 3.30pm on the Saturday and the car park was full. We managed to get a space later once the late lunch visitors left. Next time we visit the Lakes we would choose to stay here again. "
