Wasnt expecting the Ritz as the price was very good but we arrived to find a fair amount of sand on the floors - they clearly had not cleaned floors prior to our arrival. It’s very basic which was ok but would have been a little better if there was a lamp in the bedroom and proper curtains to shut out the morning light. It also said toilet roll and towels were included with booking but there was only 1 roll for 3 people for 4 days. Towels looked...

"Lovely accommodation right in the heart of Kendal. Everything well thought out, and clean and cosy. May not want to visit with young children as some of the pictures on the wall were more adult orientated with no option to remove them for duration of stay."

"We were greeted by Keith on arrival who showed us in and where everything was ,he even had a fresh pint of milk to go with the coffee and biscuits in the apartment It was very clean and tidy, really well equipped, nice and quiet Short 3 minute walk to the high street and shops and restaurant and just across the road to the sea. Five minute walk to the tram station to take you all along the promenade to all of Blackpool's sites Would 100% book again Thanks Keith "

"Great communication with Imaan throughout and if i had any questions pre trip, i had a quick response. Easy check in process, details sent the day before. Parking is behind on a public car park and was safe. The property is as expected. It's spacious with a lovely kitchen area, great if you're away with family or friends. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Although just off the high street and the lounge overlooks it, there is No noise at all! So it's just perfectly positioned. Tip: Check...

"We visited with out 3 girls during half term. We really liked the layout of the apartment and it had everything we needed (although we forgot to take towels which weren't supplied - our bad!) The surrounding are beautiful and interesting with the old ironworks directly opposite. We found a nice pub, the Anglers Arms, just up the road with friendly staff and the food looked good. Our only very minor gripes are - we couldn't get one of the radiators to come on downstairs - not too bad when we went...

"A wonderful place to stay for a Lake District break. Hugely spacious, everything finished to a high standard and extremely comfortable. Our only problem was thinking the key for the door was at the front when it was round the back but once we were in we were all hugely impressed. Many thanks for an enjoyable stay. We would like to return for a longer break next year."

"Staff at reception very friendly and informative. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our lodge and although we didn't take part it looked like there was lots of activities going on (this didn't disturb us) Our lodge was bigger than expected and clean Lots of cutlery and plates to use and a filter coffee machine which was a lovely touch. The property is easy to get to and a good base for exploring the area. "
