"The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Lancaster for shops, bars and pubs. Check in was very easy.
Don't know if it was the building, but getting mobile data signal in the room was difficult - make sure you know what the Wifi code is before going in! Ideally having it in the room somewhere would've been really useful!"
"I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!"
"You can’t hear noise from the bar which is great. Depending on which room you have (we’ve stayed twice) you can hear through the walls - we could hear cleaners in the morning. The manager kindly sent on lost property which we were grateful for. "

"We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. Very dog friendly and it was great we could eat with our dog in the bar. The family room was very clean and good size. Not a great view of the fire escape but it didn’t matter for one night. In a great location in the seafront and easy to park outside on the road for free. "

"The lady manager greeted us on arrival, she was very friendly and helpful and bubbly which made a difference to our stay it mad us feel welcome, the only thing was there wasn't always someone on reception.
The restaurant was nice but wasn't keen on the very large thick cut chips which were under cooked. And I'm not sure if the person serving us was a man or a woman...he spoke and looked like a man but had a dress on!!!
Although he/she was pleasant and helpful serving us, but I think he'd been better wareing trousers as the young girl waitresses did."
"I had a wonderful stay at the Craigwell. My single room was a comfortable size and spotlessly clean, as was the whole hotel, and very well appointed. Ed the proprietor was friendly and helpful with anything I needed to know which was important as I had not been to Morecambe before. The breakfast was perfectly cooked and a good size. I cannot fault this hotel or Ed who I hope to see again if I return to Morecambe which as a town is much better than some of the reviews."
