Went to bed at 2am and we woke up at 5am because of loud banging sounds that lasted til 10:30am. Turned out there was a woodpecker near our room. We were on the highest floor: 5th. Would have been nice if we were warned that there was one upon checkin. The solution was to move us in another room without us taking any of our luggages at that time. It would have been fine if we were not so tired, sleepy and groggy. Who has the energy/want to move to another at that early in the morning. The guy at the front desk said okay I will write it down that you declined the offer to be put to a free room til checkout that day. I told him technically it is not free since we are checking out the same day. In addition, the airconditioner was not working properly. I understand it would shutoff once it reached the desired temperature however, it would not regulate in that specified temperature at all. I have to keep on waking up just to turn it off and then on to get it to work. The room would get very hot if you do not have it on. It was really hard to get a good night's rest.
