"Read all reviews thought it can't be that bad well to be honest it is but we paid around £50 for a Saturday night so what do you want it does say budget hotel so that's what you get good location though and quiet would not return or recommend though "
"Was a surprise when we arrived to how dated it was but that was the charm as thats what its about. Lovely couple who have just purchased it with great plans for the place. Great food. Will be going back again"
"We had a lovely ground floor room - the building is dated but you get what you pay for - only complaint I had was the other guests sitting outside our window drinking and chatting loudly till 3am"
"Brilliant find, Ian was welcoming and really helpful showing us round and giving all the details you need for a great stay.
Breakfast and facilities were top notch and we will definitely be back! "

Top Bishop Wilton Hotel Reviews
Hotel Indigo York by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Stayed here for two nights and had a fantastic stay. The hotel is situated perfectly for exploring York and within 14 minutes walk of all you need to visit, ie York Minster, The Shambles, Jorvik Viking Centre and much more. Made two specific requests beforehand and both were met to complete satisfaction. Hotel staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Lovely room which was clean with the exception of behind the bathroom door. Breakfast choice excellent and well presented and flavourful. Would definitely recommend and would return again. "
"The property is well located for a stay in York, convenient for the train station and also for access to the city centre.
It was clean and the room was well appointed.
Lovely roof top bar giving a view across the city.
Breakfast was good."
"In a really good position for getting into the city, with many bars and restaurants very close by, parking onsite is a little expensive (in my opinion) £25 per night. We found a parking spot 5 minutes walk away for £9 overnight, other than that definitely recommend this hotel."
