No elevator which makes it very difficult with suitcases. No coffee in the room and not available at all until 10:00 am. Loud at night. The worst part - opened the door in the morning and there was a cockroach outside the room door. And another huge one later in the morning in the lobby.

Great Hotel

This is a hidden gem. A little difficult to find initially due to location, but once inside, it was very clean, modern and staff were extreamly friendly and helpful. Perfect accomodation and location.

Great hotel for the price and the people working there were very helpful. They got us in much early than agreed and I appreciate that. We had traveled across from the US and were exhausted but the nice hostess let us in within 30 minutes at 11am. Thanks a ton.

Good stay!

Overall a very good stay! The hotel was in a good location and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You could hear some noise from the hallway and from the streets, but it did not bother us and did not affect our sleeping/comfort. No shampoo in the shower, but they provide soap and a hairdryer in the room. The safe and the fridge came in handy. There is a decent restaurant right downstairs.

If I recall correctly, Anna was the name of the woman who checked us in. She was friendly and helpful. Room was small but clean. No elevator so we had to carry bags up a flight with Anna's assistance.

Great location and big room for the three of us. Nice shower. New towels every day. In room Fridge and safe. No I’m room facilities such as kettle etc. no lift up to first floor. Quiet in apartments. Tapas bar below noisy but closed at 11. Very quiet afterwards. Would stay here again.

The place smelled really bad , the rooms were not clean , the stairs were very tiring . Not recommended at all. Very overpriced, same money can get a better stay . Overrated here on expedia which can be considered false advertising . Didnt check in after the first night and they refused to return any money .

Very great experience

The Som Nit Port Vell hotel is a really good hotel. The location is perfect. We stayed for a night, the lady at reception is kind and helpful. The free WiFi is very fast, and the sound proofing on the listing didn’t disappoint! If the window is open, you can hear everyone and the commotion outside. Once you close it, you can’t hear anything happening outside. The price for the room is also very great, I’m shocked at how low the price was for such a modern and futuristic room. The bathroom is great and there is a hair dryer supplied. I would really recommend this hotel. You can put the hotel room keys onto your phone with the app. No issues at all with the hotel. Great experience

A hidden gem in Barcelona

Som Nit is the perfect place to stay when in Barcelona. It is located where every major attractions and desires in your vacation can easily be reached. It is at Port Velle with lots of restaurants, cafe, bars, and shops surround you. And the Barceloneta Beach is just about 5 mins. walk. The hotel itself is a hidden gem. It’s not easy to find because it is not like any other hotels where you will expect a lobby when you walk in. It has simple door that enters the building with a small Som Nit sign next to it. But when you find it you will surely be glad you did. The room we stayed has modern design and has a nice rain shower. It has a small balcony that when you open the door it, you feel like you are part of the fun that is happening outside. And the fun last till early morning. But not to worry, just close your window and you hear nothing outside and enjoy a peaceful sleep with their climate controlled room. The staffs are great and helpful, specially Anna who made sure that we are properly taken care of. I highly recommend Som Nit to anyone who is planning to visit Barcelona.
