The hotel staff was really nice. Pablo and Jasmine were really helpful but i would not stay here again unfortunately. The property is out of date. I could not get a good rest due to hearing the plumbing from EVERY flush from other rooms. The beds are hard and uncomfortable. It was not worth the price IMO

Excellent but thin walls
Lovely boutique hotel with sparkling clean room in a very quiet area. Only issue we had was that people checked in late in the next room and talked until 4 am. Then woke us up again at 6. It was unfortunate. We were trying to rest for a night after a month of travel before returning to States.

Small hotel with personalized service. Great balcony, kitchennette with induction cooktop, microwave and good cookware. Comfy bed. Only 5 minutes walk from El Puxtet metro station with direct link to Catalunya Square in 12 minutes.

Travelling to many places in Europe. We made a good option to stay here, it is a nice home feel hotel with kitchen . The staffs were nice and helpful always been knowing when to send the cleaning lady to us. We had a nice& warm Christmas there :)

We thought the apartment was very central and transport was very easy to access we thought accommodation was comfortable clean if bit basic found all the staff were very friendly and very helpful with any queries and will gladly recommend bona nova to anyone who is interested in visiting Barcelona we can’t wait to visit again

Such a lovely stay. 24 HR desk. Very friendly. Helped us with everything. In a really nice area of Barcelona that is quite quiet and has some lovely places to eat. Close to a supermarket so that you can stock up on things and pop them in the fridge. Would happily stay again and recommend. Really close to metro so in main touristy Barcelona within 10 minutes in the metro. Everything we wanted plus a great shower!

Lots of space, a bit old
A little far out from downtown. Not much going on in the neighborhood. Train is only 3 blocks away and goes to Catalunya. Rooms have a small kitchen with fridge. Remember I’m was spacious and clean. Beds were uncomfortable and tv was tiny. Nothing really bad or great about this hotel

A very comfortable well situated aparthotel
This is a comfortable and friendly hotel with good very clean beds that is situated in a quiet neighbourhood.Our apartment also had a most comfortable sofa and chair in it. The kitchen was perfect for a stay of a few days and they even washed up for us. Perfect for dishwasher owners. The location was good too. About a five minute walk to the nearest train station. Trains from there take you into the centre of town (place de Catalunya) in approx. 10 minutes. There are several good restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Barcelona is great, full of history, art, culture . It is not as expensive as we thought ie entry to galleries, museums etc You can buy combined tickets We were only there for 3 days and did not find any decent restaurants that were reasonably priced .The restaurants looked good , the menus looked good but the food was disappointing On the last day I had a Paella their national dish and thought they couldn't go wrong. It was awful . Admittedly we did not search for specific restaurants as we were more interested in fitting in the maximum culture experience but I always thought the Spanish could cook. Clearly not. Ramblas not as pretty as it was 15 years ago .A lot less flower sellers , mime artists , music etc . Gothic quarter is great. Get a bus ticket for green and orange line .Not cheap but worth it to hop on and off to visit all the places you could otherwise not get too. The full circular tour is 2 t-2 1/2hours on the green line and 2hrs on the orange all for the one price per day. Check out restaurant reviews before you go

Hotel staff was exceptional! The close is close to the subway and out of the normal "tourist" enviroment. This is hotel allows you to experience the real Barcelona.

Perfect for our needs.
We needed a hotel for one night in Barcelona. This hotel fit our needs perfectly. We got 2 rooms (family of five) and the rooms were large and comfortable. There is a little kitchen which would have been great for a longer stay. The staff was friendly, helpful and available 24/7. Walking distance to most things and access to metro. About a 20 minute taxi ride from the airport (approx 40 Euro).

Suite was at the 6th floor, unfortunately the lift was not working upon arrival but was shortly afterwards fixed. Good-sized room, well air-conditioned.

OK but location not the best
I trusted the people saying that the location was fine. It really isn't very convenient. I stayed in 4 different locations in Barcelona over a month and this, to me, was the worst. The building is located too far up the hill. It is close to Tibidabo and close enough to Park Guell but, it is quite a distance to the water and very far from the beaches. There is a Metro stop nearby so you can get around easy enough but there really isn't too much in the area; actually not much at all. I like the exercise of walking and would walk 10 miles a day and more, so I was OK but, unless you plan on walking, getting a taxi, taking the metro (3 blocks away), or figuring out the bus system, you will feel like you're in a suburb but remember, it's only a 3-4 mile walk or so to La Rambla so it's doable. The building itself is OK. It's showing age as are the rooms but they are very large, more like a 1 bedroom apartment. The front desk persons are all very helpful and kind. There is a very large grocery store within two blocks just around the corner from the building so that is a HUGE plus. Not many choices to eat or drink in the area.

Great location, wonderful place, great value
We loved the area -- and took a 3 day Metro pass (10 trips for just under 20 Euros -- a great deal as the system is so well organized and felt perfectly safe) and traveled to all parts of Barcelona. We walked one day to the Palace Riel. and another day walked and discovered the Guell park, which was amazing. We could jump on the Metro (less than 2 full blocks away) and could enjoy all sorts of interesting activities and attractions. the room was clean, and convenient, and the staff was very helpful. We would stay there again, if we revisit this wonderful city. Oh, the internet service was outstanding -- no issues at all.

The most wonderful, friendly and helpful staff! Coming back to the hotel after a long day exploring city felt like coming back to a welcoming home. The room we had was simply furnished but lovely and clean with comfortable beds. I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Had a fantastic stay at Bonanova as got upgraded!
We were upgraded to the top floor suite due to a booking error which was a great way of solving a potential disappointment. Overall we found the service and hotel excellent. The breakfast was really just cakes and biscuits, better than nothing but not very substantial. It was tricky to find tho so glad we got a taxi. The train station is close by but hard to find using the map the hotel gives you.

Well-suited apartment hotel provides great value
Overall, the Bonanova Suite Hotel was a great choice. While the location is slightly away from the main downtown areas of Barcelona, it is only a short walk (literally 2min) from the closest metro station. There are also a number of highly-rated restaurants in the surrounding neighbourhood (ie, within a 10-15 min walk or even shorter with a quick metro ride and walk from there). The front desk staff were very helpful, the rooms were clean, the little kitchenette was great, and there is almost nothing to complain about. The only minor fault was a small water leak from the bathtub onto the bathroom floor.

Great location!
The hotel is located in the northern part of the city. The area is upscale urban. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel is non-smoking, extremely clean and the staff was very helpful as indicated in other reviews. There is a small kitchenette. Our only complaint is that we were given one of two "attic" rooms on the sixth floor where the celing slants and the only windows were window/skylights. The elevator on goes to the fifth floor, so we had to drag our luggage up one floor. If we could get a lower floor, we would definately stay again - probably even if we did end up on the sixth floor again.

We enjoyed the hotel and surrounding areas and the close proximity of the metro. We were able to get to and from the airport with no problems. The city of Barcelona was very nice to experience and the staff at the hotel were very helpful.

It's quite convenient to stay in this hotel. 10mins walk to the train station. We got T-10 tickets. It's easy to get to all the sites and airport. Staffs there are very nice, helpful and speak good English. The only thing is the breakfast. They only offer simple snakes and hot drinks.

Great Stay Great Staff
This is a great place with great prices. Staff was amazingly knowledgable and extremely helpful with all aspects of our stay. They were also very friendly and welcoming. Close to a metro station and straight train ride into the main Plaza de Catalunya area where you can walk down Les Rambles where all the activity is. Tour buses start in this area also. Great time and great visit. Thanks to the staff for a great visit.

This is a nice hotel, close to sevral grocery stores and public transit with a useful kitchenette on a quiet side-street. The kitchen was great since the hotel's breakfast is minimal. We also found the staff very helpful. On the negative side, the AC worked, but dripped water in the entry hall and the shower has good pressure, but is very small. The rooms were clean and well kept.

Clean, quiet and well-run. Staff could not have been more helpful. Rooms are fairly basic but spotless and comfortable, and my room was quite big. Full breakfast doesn't start until 8.15-- late if you're on business-- but the room had a two-ring cooker and crockery/cutlery so you can do your own food if you want to (I did). It's a little out of town in a residential area, but not far from the metro. Recommended.

a nice simple apartment in a convenient residential neighborhood.
We enjoyed our stay in this simple but roomy (by European urban hotel room standards) apartment in Barcelona. We had no interest in being in a tourist place above the noisy Las Ramblas, so this fit that bill. The neighborhood is a quiet (in terms of street noise) residential one around many medical facilities. The hotel is a short walk from the Metro, which is less than 10 minutes from central downtown tourist sites. There are also numerous restaurants right in the neighborhood, as well as a supermarket for picnics or fixing your own meal in the hotel's simple kitchen. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Has strong Trip Advisor ratings. If we can return to Barcelona, we will stay here again.

10 min or less ride to Plaza Catalunya on metro - just around the corner from hotel. Quiet, comfortable hotel with friendliest staff of our entire 2 week stay in spain. Helped us book transportation when we had a bit of trouble without any extra fee. Internet/coffee is free which was nice as well.

Very comfortable clean room/apartment with small kitchen, safe, free Wifi. Located in (upmarket) residential area that is safe and with a lot of local bars/restaurants. To get to city center we just had to walk 5 minutes to metro, then 3 stops to reach city center (Passeo de Gracia, la Rambla etc). But beware that if you want to go to the beach you need to change metro and probably spend 45 minutes travel in each direction. But Barca has so much more to offer than beaches.

Husa Aparthotel Bonanova In Barcelona- Lovely Spot
We enjoyed our stay at Huse Aparthoelt Bananova. Our room was very clean and quiet. The hotel staff where all very friendly and helpful. We felt very save walking around the neighborhood. The metro was about two blocks from the hotel. There where two grocery stores near by so you can stock the frig if you wanted. The neighborhood also has many other shops and restaurants. Again our stay here was lovely.

Really enjoyed staying in this hotel. 3 single beds made it perfect for a relaxed girls city break. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and spoke good English. For such a reasonable price I wasnt expecting such great service. Our rooms were cleaned each day, washing up done, towels changed etc. There are supermarkets and lovely bakeries within a couple of minutes walk, and the metro is 5 min walk away. I really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a comfortable budget base for exploring a great city.

Excellent value for money. Our room was essentially a three-part room; one section was a bedroom, another a lounger area with kitchen and a final bathroom facility. This was more than I thought we would get for the money we were paying as the room is extremely reasonable compared to other hotels in Barcelona! The hotel is located about a 10-15 min ride away from the very centre of Barcelona on the metro. Please don't think that this means you're outside the city or anything! You're not - you're in a lovely residential area with supermarkets, bars and all the rest on your doorstep. It was actually quite nice going a mile or two away from the city centre in the evenings too as it can be a bit manic...! Overall, excellent stay - highly recommended.

Poca agua caliente, pero con solucion.
EN general muy bien, muy atento el personal, muy comodo el departamento, ubicacion en un lindo barrio, aunque un poco alejado del centro turistico, pero eso ya lo sabiamos. El agua caliente dura muy poco. SOLUCION: No abrir totalmente el grifo, regular el caudal para que dure mas. Un par de cositas a mejorar: El secador de pelo no andaba, nos dieron otro, y fallaba la luz principar del area de estar, nada grave.
