"This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the Victoria Hotel - the first 2 times were good but this time was awful. The breakfast was horrible, the room smelt, and the staff didn’t even bother to make up our room on one of the mornings. Won’t be back unfortunately, which is a shame."

The hotel is historically grand and modern in a well throughout way, however the real asset is the staff. From the driveway to the room, 6 stars"

"The room was a dirty (shower and carpet)and the Manager was helpful to change us to another room, but the Hotel needs maintenance, is noisy because of the trams and elevators need new buttons. I would not recommended it."

"Light in the coffee cupboard was on all night could not turn it off , so it lit up the room . Receptionist was rude on check in . Corner room was very dingy , could not sit on the balcony as the air conditioner was so noisy and the view was the kitchen vent system . Really not worth the money . Won't stay again . But nice hotel anyway "
