"The breakfast was good.the hotel itself need some upgrades and some TLC because it’s seemed like an older hotel. The good thing the hotel was the location to get down to Canal street,Broughton and the French market."

"This was a nice hotel in the center of the french quarter. Hotel is perfect for basic needs. Has a small bar for drinks, even though you have the whole French quarter with plenty of that. Nice breakfast menu for basic needs. Rooms are typical and come with a small fridge and in nice condition. Staff was nice and easy check in. Dont be surprised it is loud at night for the party life. If you cant handle music outside at 1am, dont book, but they do have complimentary ear plugs. Our party of 6 two rooms didmt need them and not an issue. "

"Upon check-in, the receptionist was unfriendly. I had a double room, and one of the beds was dirty. The bathtub was clogged. I do not recommend this hotel for the price per night."

"Great hotel"

"This is my honest review: The exterior of the hotel and lobby are original, with beautiful architecture, and the location is very central. However, the rooms and hallways were outdated and felt unclean—there was black mould in the grout on the bathroom tiles, and the carpets clearly needed a professional cleaning. I understand this may be part of the hotel’s “aesthetic,” but I don’t think there’s any excuse for the room being dirty. Much of the furniture in the room also felt like it needed updating. The carousel bar was packed every time we went, so we eventually gave up trying to get in (which was one of the main reasons I chose the hotel). It’s also very close to Bourbon St, so walking back after dark didn’t feel like the safest experience. Overall, nothing about the hotel really stood out to us—it was simply a place to sleep."
