"Decent hotel for price "
The staff were friendly and professional and let us check-in early. The room smelled a little like mold, but that was the only complaint we had of our 3 night stay. The location was ok, 5-7min walk to union square, locals said it was kind of a sketchy location, but we didn't have any problems. Overall I would recommend the hotel.

"Hotel with a great location, but small rooms"
It was 2 nights, and it was reasonable price. Hotel has a great location. One step outside and there's tons of things to take pictures of, and plenty of nearby eateries for all budgets. The room was inside the building, so it was very quiet. Very small room, but it was clean, the bed was pretty comfortable. A room's window was facing a wall and another window. The continental breakfast had bare minimum: coffee and tea, toast, cereal with milk, cakes and toasts, one day - bananas, another one - oranges. Just enough to get you going in the morning. If you are not going to spend any time in your room, other than to sleep, I would recommend this hotel.

"Nice Hotel for a trip to San Francisco"
My expectations were not really high after reading the reviews. However, I found this hotel pleasing for the location and cleaniness of the room. Sudhir at the reception was fantastic, he was so helpful and always had a smile to welcome my friend and I. He made my stay here a more comfortable one. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but it is filling. The location of this hotel is great.

The Cow Hollow Inn greatly exceeded our expectations. It was located close to public transportation that will take you all across the city. We enjoyed the neighborhood. It had a young professional vibe, with lots of great shops & restaurants. The price was great & the staff was very helpful & friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

"Walk for Life West Coast"
Our staff was excellent, clean rooms close to Civic Center. They allowed us to keep our car in the garage until 3 pm which is worth something in San Francisco.

"Downtown"
Hotel lobby clean and easy check in. Room was clean but VERY SMALL!! Very tight fit for 2 people with queen bed. Hardly any room to move around. Shared hall toilet and shower were always clean and free. Our window faced an alley that was VERY noisy at night but they supply earplugs. The price was great! The bottom line its a great central place, clean room and you are only sleeping there.

"Really nice, comfortable hotel"
The Chelsea Inn is a great place to stay on the Marina District. It's near lots of things to see and do, most within walking distance - the Marina, the Palace of Fine Arts, shops, restaurants, night life, movies, etc. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with lots of space. Parking is onsite. The price is very fair. I highly recommend it.

"Nice Hostel close to transportation in nice area"
This will be my go to hotel when visiting San Francisco. Clean, in a quiet and easy to walk neiborhood. close to transportation, and tons of attractions. hotel staff is the super friendly and awesome people I meat. they are super nice and even open a room for me to reaccomodate my luggage after buying too much stuff in the marina. The rooms are super clean. small but from other places I stay with enough space. I love that the are was quiet and nice and even when you can hear some people walking in the street this are few and spare. the beds are super confy. I have a bad back so any too hard mattresses or uneven slumpy ones give me horrible back pain, but in here that was not the problem. there is a nice Italian restaurant on the first floor and it is super yummy. perfect for late dinner after an awesome day of sightseeing.
