Great deal for location, free parking (garage), and our room had a patio with a view of the Golden Gate Bridge.

"Nice hotel near restaurants "
This is a very nice hotel considering the price! I loved that it had parking and the rooms were nice and clean. My only complaint would be the water pressure for the shower. it was extremely weak !

"Excellent location! Great staff! Excellent value!"
Perfect location for moving about the city. So many restaurants and shops within a block of this hotel. We had nice room, free wifi and parking. The best value for the city.

Hotel room was very spacious and clean. The staff was friendly. The one thing I didnt like was the price of parking $48 is way too much.

"Good position, well centered"
The hotel is right on Lombard st, buses few mins walk, restaurants and bars round corner. The room is spacious but only single glazed Windows , so traffic can be heard. I am a light sleeper and it did disturb me a little. Too be honest we were so tired at the end of the day it wasn't too much of an issue. The king size beds are quieter rooms, we had 2 doubles which face the road. All in all a good hotel for the price with good under ground parking.

"Authentic Hotel"
What an interesting and pleasing hotel. It was like staying at a huge bed and breakfast; other people staying there from all over the world were friendly and chatty. The room was very very small, which is why I said the room comfort was OK, but I guess I could have looked at the room size before booking it (have learned my lesson lol). By 10pm, the hotel was really quiet, and comfortable. You must share bathrooms with others, but every time I went to the bathroom, hardly anyone else was there.

Great Staff. Walking distance to few places. Horrible social conditions with the homeless people right outside of the hotel.

"Nice hotel but disappointing treatment by owner."
When i arrived early around 11AM I was told no rooms were ready and to come back at 1PM, which I did. I was then told by the owner, a Chinese woman, that there were still no rooms ready and to come back at 230 PM. When I pressed her, she showed me to a first floor room facing a brick wall and where I could here everything that was happening at the front desk. When I insisted that I had I asked her twice for a quiet room, she finally looked annoyed and gave me a room on the top floor. Why did I have to go through all this? Couldn't this sneaky woman give me the room I requested in the first place? Was she saving it for her more favorite guests? I don't know. Don't let these people, particularly this Chinese owner, play their sneaky games with you. Insist on the room you want and do not let this woman intimidate you!

"Nice, new, clean "
We were seeing a show at Bill Grahm and this was 1 mi. away. Not in the best neighborhood but the hotel itself was very nice. The rooms were clean and updated.

"Worth for the money."
You will have to pay for parking which is 25$. And the cheapest hotel in downtown. Good for tourists. I will recommend it.
