"Nice small hotel near Union Square and Moscone Ctr"
This hotel is strategically located within a short walking distance from the Moscone Convention Center, Union Square, great shopping, BART and the trolley cars. This is NOT the place to come with the family. Instead, this is the place for a single traveler looking for a place a stay while in the City. There is no need to rent a car. Just take BART to the Powell Station, get out and walk 1/2 block. You can always get a taxi or just wait in line for the trolley car for a fun ride to the Wharf. Parking in this area is horribly expensive (up to $54/night) so it's worth it to take public transportation. Great shopping (Westfield Mall is amazing), Union Square shopping, movie theater, etc. are all there. The rooms are very small so if you can get past that, remember that this is just a place to stay while you venture around the City. If you think of this place like a B&B, you'll be just fine. To save some $$, I stayed in a small room with a sink, bed and TV and shared a bathroom and shower. It is shared between 4-6 rooms (if they're rented). I didn't have any trouble and it was worth the minor inconvenience. San Francisco is a very expensive place to stay so look at all options and see what works for you. In my case, what worked for me would NOT work if I had brought my spouse.

24 hr desk service, which was great because we arrived late. Central position. Bus stop just outside. Basic room but that's all we wanted. Continental breakfast. Luggage storage. Lobby area nice. Desk staff accepted delivery of a parcel on my behalf which was great. All good

"Great location. 2 star quality at best. "
Great location. Beds and pillows were super uncomfortable. Although the room appeared to be clean it smelled terrible (like febreeze over smoke) and you didn't want to touch anything because it felt dirty. Breakfast was great with lots of sweets and no place to sit down.

"Nice hotel with no bathroom in room. "
The hotel stay wasn't a bad experience..the room was cosy and performed its function. The only semi problem that I encountered..was the bathroom were down the hal, it was kind if a burden to have to leave your room half naked. 2nd issue was..I like the window open..but the street was sooo loud and as the morning came the noise began to roar..there was no sleeping i, despite how drunk I was the night before

"Nice and convenient hotel in a great location"
Easy to find and a great base in which to explore San Francisco. The hotel is clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was a great bonus. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, then this is not the place for you. However if you are looking for a clean and comfortable base for you to then spend your time exploring San Francisco, then this hotel ticks all the boxes. If this is your first visit to San Francisco, I would recommend you use the Hop On Hop Off bus tour which you can access from Union Square which is a 2 minute walk away. This is a great way to see what San Francisco has to offer.

The hotel was perfect for the price we paid. The room was small but decorated well and came with a mini fridge and microwave which was unexpected. The downfall is the location and the shared bathroom, but overall our stay was nice.
