"Quaint little hotel in an excellent location."
If you are looking for a unique hotel experience in the heart of old Montreal, this is it. Walking distance to everything in the old port, quaint and cozy. No amenities like a big hotel chain (which we absolutely loved), big room, little mini bar, very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend if you are looking for more of a home away from home feel vs a large hotel.

La Tour Belvedere Apartment Hotel

"Great option and convenient amenities for families"
The apartment style suites were such a plus for our family. Spacious and clean and the addition of the kitchen meant we were able to cook dinner on-site rather than wander around in a snow storm. Two items to be aware of. 1 - we were on the 20th floor and the windows were the sliding type with a little latch. Extremely easy to open and no way to lock them. Very concerning for us (a parents worst nightmare) with an inquisitive 3-year old boy especially with one of the beds tucked up right against the window. If you have little ones talk to the hotel about this or bring a piece of wood to jam the window. 2 - don't do the breakfast buffet. Staff was awesome but the food was not worth $9.99/pp. Overall, in spite of these two issues, we were very happy with our stay.

"Nice hotel in downtown Montreal"
2 types of rooms: with and wihout private bathroom. We booked the one with private bathroom. The room was clean except for some ants discovered in the bathroom. The bed is a double size flop bed attached to the wall, but is comfortable. The breakfast was simple. they provide toasts, boiled eggs, coffee, milk, cereals and a croissant limited to one person each.

A great place to stay if you are on a budget. The rooms aren't luxurious, but are still clean and comfy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Just a 10-minute ride from downtown Montreal.

A small table and chairs in the kitchen would be a nice addition. Had to stand around to eat in the full sized kitchen or take food into the living room - not the best. Otherwise, a good experience.

"A nice hotel in the heart of Montreal."
We really enjoyed our stay here. This was a great little inn in the middle of Montreal, allowing us to easily access other parts of the downtown area. The staff was excellent and the room was well decorated. We really enjoyed relaxing in the beautifully-decorated lounge with glasses of wine (available by the glass from the wine-bar in the lounge) in front of the fireplace in the evening, and a delicious breakfast served with a personal touch in the morning.

Hotel Des Arts

2060 Saint-Dominique, Montreal - Map
"Very affordable hotel, close to downtown."
Hotel check in was quick and easy. Quick access by foot from the bus station at berri . The room was very comfortable and maid service efficient. I have stayed at 2 stars with much lesser facilities. Breakfast was most welcome although it was basic . Hotel is close to the downtown core and the room price was a bargain.
