Our room was very spacious and clean. The resort was beautiful with a great pool for kids with two water slides. Staff was very nice too! Our only complaint was the noisy AC unit. We stayed at the Wigwam for three nights and none of us got much sleep due to the noise.
We were attending a soccer match right across the hotel. University of Phoenix is within walking distance from hotel which one can walk to. Hotel does offer shuttle services, however, their hours of operation should be expanded. We had to use Uber to get to stadium as their shuttle was not in service and walking in 104 degree temp was not an option. Other than that, staff made us feel welcomed at all time. Another perk..... they have grills set up by poolside, so families can BBQ!
Excellent rate, beautiful room, great breakfast, hot coffee 24x7.
The best thing since sliced bread is the electrical outlets on TOP of the desk and nightstand, no crawling around moving furniture to plug in CPAP or laptop and phone chargers!!!!
"very busy, high occupancy (at least this weekend)"
My late notice reservation was respected and I felt very welcome. A computer glitch assigned me to a room not quite ready but a quick phone call from the housekeeper set that right in less than 5 minutes. The room met my reservation requirements plus coffee, fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast area in the lobby was super clean and the food fresh. There were no odd odors or chemical smells. This is a non smoking facility and the smoking crowd had a place outside (temps approx 103f) that was well used and very clean. No smoke odor inside.
My check out was less than two minutes and I was on my way.
I would gladly stay there again and probably will.
This suburb claims one of Arizona’s aquatic treasures: Lake Pleasant. Located in Peoria’s northern fringes, Lake Pleasant is the state’s second biggest lake. Fishing, boating, water and Jet Skiing are popular activities here. The Peoria Sports Complex is a venue for Major League Baseball spring training. Next door, the Arrowhead Towne Center is considered the area’s Restaurant Row.
