Check-in was quick, easy, and friendly, room was well appointed and clean. The hotel was a little hard to find at first as it's on a college campus, but then turned into a very pleasant surprise. wifi was fast and free, parking was adequate, and campus security was a very visible presence.
Loved the hotel. We were on a couples trip but noted that the Wigwam is a very family friendly resort. Will certainly come back with the kids. Had a problem with our air conditioning which was addressed extremely promptly. When it couldn't be fixed immediately, we were upgraded to another room in the same bungalow and had staff members help us move our things. Nothing but great service all around!!!
There was a little mix up with my check out and continuing on a different reservation, but other than that, wonderful place to stay. Nice restaurants within walking distance, wonderful outdoor courtyard type area to relax, nice breakfast options including waffles and biscuits and gravy. I would certainly recommend.
Our air conditioning compressor went out, so we checked into this hotel, which is close to our home. There were three adults and three cats and we were comfortable in our room with two queen beds. The staff was wonderful - from the desk clerks, to housekeeping to the continental breakfast workers. All wonderful with great attitudes and very helpful. We even played some pool at the Matchbox. There is a swimming pool and exercise room, but I couldn't talk my spouse nor dad into participating in those activities! The facility is a little old and run down, but they are working on it! It's definitely not a four star, but worked beautifully for our situation. Would definitely go back if needed. And Expedia has some great deals on our stay.
This suburb claims one of Arizona’s aquatic treasures: Lake Pleasant. Located in Peoria’s northern fringes, Lake Pleasant is the state’s second biggest lake. Fishing, boating, water and Jet Skiing are popular activities here. The Peoria Sports Complex is a venue for Major League Baseball spring training. Next door, the Arrowhead Towne Center is considered the area’s Restaurant Row.
