I was just staying overnight close to the airport. I used the free shuttle service there and then also back to the airport in the morning that worked great. The rooms were very nice and remodeled and clean that part of town has a few people walking around at night, never felt dangerous but it’s not located in Beverly Hills but it’s very close to the airport. Perfect for what I was doing just go to your room get up the next morning and go back to the airport. Probably not the kind of thing you’d wanna walk around a lot at night even though you’d probably be fine.
