"Stayed at this hotel overnight whilst awaiting to collect our dog following surgery. Hotel set in it's own grounds,we were woken by blackbirds. Room very clean and both bed linen and bath linen,first class, soft and fluffy. Staff very kind and professional. Food well prepared and very good dinning room. Glorious views from all rooms. "It’s always tricky looking for family rooms for older children, it was fantastic to have a separate room for the two kids. The rooms are stylish and spotlessly clean.10 minute stroll into Chester centre along the canal. The hotel has a lovely friendly vibe with a great lobby/bar area with games and another upstairs with a pool table and a few arcade games. The staff were super friendly and inviting. We would definitely stay again! Thank you!!!"

"Lovely hotel, fabulous pool. Easy to find, and a short walk along the canal to the centre. Large room on the 5th floor with a comfy bed. Let down by the small bathroom, tiny shower, and an extractor fan which never switched off. Nice to have on site parking. Breakfast let down by undercooked bacon and sausages but extra brownie points for ready cooked toast👍. No bottle neck queues at the toasters!"

"Even though there is obvious work going on at the hotel, the room was quiet and pleasant. Breakfast was nice and had plenty of choice. Even had veggie sausages which ive not seen before. We had a free room upgrade which was a ni e surprise. The staff were pleasant and polite. Highly recommended. "
