Richard and Paula are lovely people have a lovely place and they are a charm to deal with and they place is clean and well stocked better than I have seen anywhere I travelled. I would go back again anytime it was an excellent 2 nights.

Peaceful midweek business trip

I stay in Mold frequently on Business and I had a really nice stay at Glas Llyn. Overall everything was very positive, the fact that a lot of the food and drink was inclusive to my stay was a real bonus for me. The owners were warm and friendly and the overall vibe was just what I like. If there were any negatives it was that the area was very separate from any local amenities, but I prefer that as it was very peaceful. Great stay overall cheers.

Beautiful backdrop with friendly owners

A great welcome and comfortable stay. We were surprised by the huge basket of goodies and the owners are really nice and helpful. Wouldn’t hesistate to stay here again.

A wonderful guesthouse

All around an excellent guesthouse. The room was clean, up to date and very well stocked with all types of nibbles and pastries included in room rate. Large self serve kitchen open to guests at all times. Owners were extremely helpful nothing being too much trouble. It's a little further out from a Mold than I was expecting.

A warm and friendly venue.

It was most enjoyable despite the bad weather. The welcome was warm and the ambience pleasant and friendly. There was just one minor criticism, no drawers for small items; ours was a short stay so this did not matter too much. We would be happy to go back there again and probably will as we have family nearby.

Great place for a North Wales Stay

Had a weekend break here in the cottage. Owners were very helpful very generous welcome. It has all the amenities we wanted (including wifi to keep teenagers alive) Rooms are very nicely appointed, tidy, and enough sockets to charge mobile devices. Our GPS/Satnav took us on a route that was single track roads for the end some of which made us think is this right (yes it was) and very picturesque tree tunnel in part (Welsh roller coaster in other bits). So stick with it and you will find a little base that let's you reach colwyn bay/Llandudno, Chester, Wrexham, half a dozen castles and some fascinating country homes.

Just great!

Wonderful place in an idyllic location. Exceptionally friendly/helpful owners, lovely pub not far away with great food. Would definitely go back and we have no hesitation in recommending this place

Best stay anywhere, ever!

The owners, Richard and Paola are wonderful hosts. We got a bit lost (to say the least) and Richard met us where we were and led us to the hotel which set the tone of our oh to brief stay. Lovely spacious room with masses of complimentary snacks, coffee, tea etc. Comfy bed, great shower. Very clean - what more could anyone want? Oh yes, the views of the countryside were exceptional - as was the whole experience. Definitely recommended to everyone. We'll stay there again but for longer!

For our break, we actually stayed in the flat at Mold that was owned by Richard and Paola . It was really handy for getting around to other places to visit. The stay was comfortable in a quiet area.

The staff were very helpfull with all my enquires

I found the hotels surroundings to be very peacefull and close to the various place I wanted to visit.The closeness of little local pubs for food and drink was ideal.

Nice secluded countryside accommodation

Totally relaxed place - love the bedroom easing my hectic mind. So peaceful to look out nothing compared to any accommodations I have stayed. Enjoyed eating breakfast in the bedroom without have to come down to eat - just be myself away from the maddening world out there!

The mood enhancer

Richard and Paula made us feel like personal friends not paying guests.Nothing was too much trouble for them.One -if not both -of them was always available for us.A great place to stay for a relaxing time if you need to get away from frenetic every day life.

Quiet and comfortable location in the welsh hills.

We arrived to the smell of cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven. The England match was on telly and we were invited to sit with our hosts to watch the match with a cup of tea and a cinnamon roll. A warm welcome and a comfortable stay.

Absolutely perfect

Friendly but not too chatty, clean and very comfortable bed and lovely quiet middle of nowhere wonderfullness. Our hosts were very generous of spirit and had we wanted to we could have used the well appointed kitchen. The refreshingly decorated room was great and a sumptuous shower room ensuite. Brilliant.

Best choice ever

The welcome was excellent, the butterfly room which we stayed in was excellent and so comfortable. Can't fault anything, would definitely recommend this place to stay and will definitely stay there again in the near future.

GREAT HOTEL ,FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS A GOOD NIGHT

IT WAS GREAT!!, VERY COMFORTABLE AND ALSO QUITE, HAS A WET SHOWER AND HEATED FLOORING, VERY NICE STAFF, BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS.
