Spent 11 nights with a group of friends. Mid July, the weather was fantastic. 26 degrees overnight to 34 during the days. A little rain here and there which brought some relief from the heat but not too much to upset any plans. From lazing around the pools, a few drinks at the Irish pub across the road and plenty of local business to shop. One of the biggest challenges for me was trying quick calculations on currency conversions. Often bartering with the locals to then realising later it was all over 2 or 3 dollars. Still...its lots of fun and you always seem to walk away feeling you've won...lol. Getting around was easy, always a tuk tuk around and the most it cost us was 1000 baht (about A$40) to Phuket city AND that was split 10 ways. Beach around the corner, supermarket, plenty of bars, restaurants, massages and tailors trying convince you to get a suit. Suggest getting your laundering done by the locals, there are a few really close by. You pick it up next day all neatly folded and packaged and its cheap. We've left this place with some wonderful memories and some lovely local "friends" whom we look forward to seeing next time (yes...there will be a next time).

This resort is absolutely perfect - clean and modern rooms, beautiful grounds and pools, delicious breakfast, helpful staff. While it is a ten minute walk from the beach and shops, there is a free shuttle a few times a day to get you there and it's more quiet and peaceful because of this. Would absolutely stay here again.
Booked 3 sea view suites. The rooms were big, apartment-like. However, our "sea view" for 2 of the rooms were views of overgrown bushes and banana trees. You could not see the sea. The 3 room was actually at the Accenta next door with great view and infinity pool. I would recommend staying there instead because it looks like all of the room had excellent ocean view.
