I have wanted to stay here for a few months and got the opportunity. It is a great old building with amazingly modern features inside. I had a superb duplex room facing the Main Street and it was very comfortable indeed, very high tech yet exuded luxury too. The hotel can be a little confusing in its layout but the staff are extremely attentive and are always willing to help . The situation is great too, just around the corner from the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum, and the Concertegebouw... A very calm and refined and upmarket part of town. I'd definately stay here again.

Super hotel in a lovely location. Rooms are big and spacious, staff are quite friendly and with no formal reception it feels like going to an actual canal townhouse. Other reviews are right about wifi - you get logged out each time but that's easy to fix and the stairs up to the rooms are quite steep but that's part of the beauty of the hotel.

Picked this hotel form a guide book. A bit more than I usually spend but worth it. Great location with canal view. Excellent upbeat and helpful staff. Room was larger than expected. Spa style bathroom made me feel very special. Within walking distance of everything I wanted to see but on a nice quiet street.

Spent three days and two nights. Hotel was absolute perfection in every aspect of service and location. Could have easily done a week because I'm a three day and go kind of person. This place was amazing.
