"So much better than Amsterdam. A beautiful fishing village just a bus ride away from Amsterdam. We loved it. The location on the canal was incredible. The house inside was top notch. We had everything we needed and communication with Rein and Ben was excellent. If we ever return to the Netherlands we will definitely stay here again."

"For some reason my room card (room 413) wouldn't work on the 3rd evening, which was a problem as it was after 10.30 in the evening, and i was a single 69 year old traveller. I returned to reception and the card was reset, i returned again to the 4th floor to find it still wasn't working. A member of staff then escorted me to the access door on the 4th floor to ensure it worked the 3rd time."

I thought that I would be able to grab something at a local café, but nothing opened until around 10am. This could’ve been because of the time of year I went. "Great food at a low price! The staff are all warm and welcoming especially waiter Marcel who was friendly, polite and knowledgeable! The hotel room was very small, the pillows were terrible, we ran out of loo roll in the second day! There were only enough toiletries for one person and the iron didn't take a single crease out of my clothes! The room was quiet except for the hour when the church chimed! Parking is like a max 7 minutes walk so don't pay for it! We were advised it was 15-20 minutes...
