A two night stay. Hotel staff is extremely well trained and professional. From the bag handler to the front desk to the maid service and restaurant...all excellent. You can really tell that the training of the staff is a high priority here. Location of the hotel was great as well. Would suggest making reservations at the Peninsula Grill which was also excellent.
My husband and I stayed four nights, and we loved the continental breakfast served in our room each morning. The evening wine and cheese party as well as the sherry in the lobby was a lovely touch. The bed was comfy and quiet. The best part was the convenient location, within walking distance to many historical sights and lots of shopping. It's a bit pricey, but it seems comparable to other hotels in the same area. We were very satisfied overall.
Good location, like the loft condo setup. Didn't use the kitchen, but nice to have. Balcony upstairs was nice the one night that the weather was warm. Would recommend to others based on our experience. Will stay again if returning to Charleston.
