"Right next to Higashi-Shinjuku Station"
The room was a little small, but so are all rooms in Tokyo. The bed was bigger than the last place in Tokyo I stayed at and was a lot cushier. There is a very small bathtub in the shower that you can use but you have to fold your legs to fit into it. There is a heater in each room. The outlets are all 2 prong so if you have a 3 prong cord (for like a laptop) then you'll need to bring an adapter. There is a vending machine, ice machine and coin-op washer dryer in the basement.

"Near to the subway and the JR shinjuku station"
Room is reasonably sized for a hotel in Japan and is near to subway and JR (About 350 metres away from hotel) Surrounded by eateries and many shopping districts around the area. It is despite that still quiet and mice.

"Such helpful staff!"
We arrived to find out that I had booked us in for one less night than intended. The man at the front desk fixed up our issue with no fuss, organizing to have a triple bed room made up within twenty minutes. The room was spacious and very comfortable, but it was the staff that really made Shinjuku Prince for us. The man that had helped us with the room was a continuous source of help throughout our stay, I wish I had got his name so I could say thank you!

"Nice hotel in Shinjuku."
The hotel was very clean and nice. The bath in the basement was kept very nice and I enjoyed it! The rooms were small and it was absolutely a challenge to fit two travelers with 1 piece of luggage apiece. But, it was charming in its own way and I don't think that it's that big of a detriment for a short trip. Despite what others may say about the language barrier, I didn't find this to be a problem because I don't tend to need much more than check in/check out from the staff. I would absolutely stay here again. Great hotel!

"Highly recommended!"
The room was a bit small but I understand that's normal for Japanese hotels so that's not a criticism on the hotel. The hotel itself was brilliant. It was really comfy and amenities were luxurious and plentiful. The restaurant was also a pleasant experience. The hotel staff were very friendly and always happy to help. Conveniently located about a mile from the main station, this hotel offers excellent comfort and warm service, complemented with stylish decor.

"Great hotel!"
My stay at the E-Hotel was fantastic and very affordable. It is located only a few meters from the Higashi Shinjuku subway entrance (which was very convenient) and only a short walk to the center of Shinjuku and the Golden Gai. There are plenty of food options immediately around the hotel as well. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful with every request I had. I would recommend hotel to friends and would book in again.

"Great hotel for enjoying Shinjuku and Shibuya"
This is a clean, straightforward, 21-story hotel in good proximity to Shinjuku's attractions. One block from the Okubo subway stop on the Chuo line, a few more blocks to the Shin-Okubo stop on the Yamanote line means you can pretty much go anywhere you want in Tokyo with not too much hassle. It's not a "luxury" style hotel but it has nicely done Ikea furnishings and honestly if you are looking for luxury in Tokyo you might as well look for a hotel in Ginza. Prepare to pay a lot there. This hotel is great for people who just need a nice, affordable place to rest up for more Tokyo adventures. I would definitely stay here again.

"Simple hotel but fit the bill"
Firstly, the hotel and room are very clean and tidy. The room is very small but you will expect it in a place like Tokyo and it is adjusted to what you pay compare to other hotels that offer bigger room. For us, it is fine because we did not come all those way to stay in a room. We struggle to place two open luggages on the floor area. Overall, I think it is very good if you are in Tokyo for short stay and like to go out and about. I will not recommend it to anyone who is looking for a romantic stay. The only downside is there is no complimentary tea or coffee. However, there is a 7/11 convenience shop across the road to buy milk and instant coffee. Hotel staffs English language skill is only basic level. They know enough words to communicate to you but something struggle to understand you. The location is east of Shinjuku which is approx. 10mins walk away from main train station and where all the shops are. However, there is a metro station next to the hotel and save walking to the main station. There are plenty of restaurants, takeaway and fast food places dotted around the hotel so there is no shorten of food supply (and you will enjoy the food too).

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Shinjuku 3 stars Hotels

This sprawling business, commercial, and entertainment center never lets up. It is a modern Japanese phenomenon with shopping arcades, flashing neon signs, stand-up noodle bars, and side-street video screens. Some two million people pass through the train station alone. Futuristic-looking City Hall offers a free observation deck with great city views.
