After reading recent feedback we booked. I then had a look at some older reviews, they did not rate the accommodation highly.
We were invited to inspect the rooms first by the manager, and had a quick look. So far so good. We decided to go with the first lot of rooms he gave the keys to inspect, no need to look at the other rooms.
Based on other rooms we took our own linen. It stayed in the car. The sheets and bedding were clean and crisp (I could tell by the crease marks on the sheets) The pillows were fine and had clean cases on them, as did the extra pillows in the wardrobe. The Sky was a bit tricky to figure out with the remote, but that took less than 5 minutes to figure out.
One of our rooms had a big corner bath tub, this was great. The housing for the heated towel rail was broken (I suspect some people using a towel rail as a grab bar) but it looked ok and was working and was in a safe condition. The bath and shower were clean.
The size of the rooms were very spacious with a bedroom and kitchen area etc. All kitchen facilities were available. The fridge was fine, worked well and was clean and in good order. The carpets were in good order.
The rooms had a radiator for heating and we nice and warm.
The rooms were not perfect, they were value for money and we got good value from them.
We used the pool and the mini golf. The pool was fine. Not too hot, not too cold. No one got sick, so it must by hygienic.
The owner really went out of his way to give us local visitors tips, which turned out to be extremely useful. We followed his advice and found places we would have otherwise missed.
The room had everything we expected, was quite comfy. The cold buffet breakfast was good in saving us time in what was a busy day.

We enjoyed the comfort of our stay. Nothing fancy, but we were not looking for it. Clean and comfy. There were dryer, radio/ alarm clock, heater, iron and ironing board, plates, a pan, a frying pan, plates and cups, stove, fridge, shampoo, liquid soup.. All for $99 a night. We were tired from a busy day and had a night rest before we went on exploring the next day. We found everything we needed. There were two of us. The room had a queen bed, a single bed and a sofa. Spacious room, little sitting outside area. Polite personnel.
