My third trip to Royal Solaris, the first two were "EXCELLENT" service overall.
My third time was totally different due to the Huracan Odile, very difficult situation, no water, no power but we were so glad the hotel still took care of all the guests eventhough the hard and difficult circumstances. I will come back.
Went there on a family vacation and I had a blast the staff was always ready and willing to help with whatever you needed. The pool was amazing and it close to the beach and shopping. I would definitely recommend to people and go again.
Renovated in January of 2012, this resort in the center of town overlooks Cabo San Lucas Marina, departure point for …More
I booked this hotel for my parents and their 50th anniversary and they loved it. They found it very relaxing and family oriented near an interesting national park and a nice beach; not suitable for swimming due to the strong waves but still nice and relaxing.
The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. There was a general failure with the AC and the hotel immediately transfered all people for one night to another hotel nearby while it got fixed, this speaks very well of the commitment with great customer service from the hotel, definitely recommended for anybody looking for something with great value for your money.
My best friend and I went on a girls trip with our babies. We were forced to stay at the Posada due to the recent hurricane, as it was one of the only hotels open. We are so happy that we stumbled across this gem. The food and staff were wonderful. The building and experience is authentic, and the patrons are of the unpretentious type. The style is not fancy, but truly Mexican, and that is exactly what we were looking for. If you are looking for a hotel with glitz and glamour, then the Posada is not for you, but then again, you are not for the Posada. We hope to return soon!
We stayed in Casa Natalia just after they reopened from Hurricane Odile. They were still putting some finishing touches on the outside areas, but the place was clean and ready for guests. The restaurant at the hotel, Mi Cocina, is fantastic. Even if you don't stay there, it is a wonderful place to eat. The rooms are unique, very well furnished and designed. The hotel is in the center of town in the historic district and within walking distance of nice shops and good restaurants. The staff are wonderful. They were most helpful and the service was great! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Natalia and would not hesitate to stay there again.
We choose Barceló Grand Faro for a family gathering because of a favorable experience at that location in the past. We arrived the day before Hurricane Odile decided to make her appearance on the Baja Peninsula. The hotel staff prepared well for the storm and established safe areas for the guests to stay for the duration of the storm. They expedited inspecting the hotel grounds after the storm so we could return to the "comfort" of our own rooms. Even though the main power was out, we had emergency electricity in the rooms that provided adequate lighting and outlets to charge cell phones. The hotel has its own water system so we were only without running water for about a day and a half while they drained and refilled their storage tank. Bottled water was always available and, considering the conditions after the storm, they served three great meals a day. I have nothing but praise for the staff during this ordeal and especially want to thank Aldos, Arturo, Rigo and Pedro - they were especially helpful and considerate. The hotel provided up-to-date information regarding repatriation efforts and they also provided transportation to the airport to catch exodus flights. The next family gathering that is scheduled during hurricane season will definitely be at this hotel! (Note - the hotel facilities condition is the rating pre-hurricane...)
