"Very nice hotel, located in the heart of Ginza."
The hotel is in perfect location if you want to stay in Ginza. Close to malls, restaurants, etc. Make sure you have a map with location of hotel, since is the hotel lobby is on the second floor. Rooms are clean, bathroom are nice, good shower. Size of the room is japanese standard, on smaller side. Bed is confortable and linens are nice.

Small room but more than enough for 1. Well worth the price paid for this great, modern Japanese hotel room. Would book again.

"Great"
We had a problem because Expedia who we booked through did not forward the booking to you, so technically we didn't have a room. Gunu sorted out the problem for us, which was so appreciated because it was 6am, it was a most enjoyable stay, from meeting the housemaid, the towel attendant at the pool and room service

Staff spoke limited English but this was ok as this was expected and they understood enough to be able to understand all of our requests (book taxi, directions, phone adaptor).

"Nice hotel. Close to all major sites."
Fantastic stay. The only thing that i would fix would be the breakfast and improve the bedding/pillows.

"Service Exemplified"
After making the initial reservation I realized I had to add a day to the beginning of the stay. I mistakenly reserved the first day at Hotel Monterey Group's other hotel, the Hotel Monterey Ginza. I did not realize this and was in the second day of the reservation when I realized I was in the wrong hotel! I went down to the front desk and inquired as to why I was not told of my error. The response was "We had the room available and did not want to inconvenience you." This is how customer service is done properly. They could have asked me to relocate to the other hotel that I had reserved but did not. I will not even consider staying anywhere else on my next visit to Tokyo.

"Great LOCATION. Good STAFF."
This hotel is conveniently located 2-3 blocks from Shimbashi station (JR/Ginza/Marunouchi Subway lines). It is a bit confusing to find at first. Look for the tall red/white tower and head in that direction. There are many buildings blocking the tower from view but once you see it, head that way. The staff spoke English and were able to direct us to an eye doctor and an ER hospital in the middle of the night! So thankful! There is a Lawson's across the street as well for 24 hour convenience. Restaurant Street is also a block away with endless dining options. A 10-15 minute walk to the Ginza was an advantage as well to get to know the neighborhood. This is a businessman hotel although we were traveling for pleasure with 2 children, ages 9 and 11. We fit comfortably in the two twin room. While the room is not big by US standards, it was more than ample in space and efficiency. The staff was able to accommodate our request of side by side rooms with our parents. (I emailed my request directly to the hotel.) Overall 5 star rating. $8 cab to Tsukiji, $12 cab to Ropponghi and $10 to Ginza if you need to. Location, location, location.

"Great location"
This hotel is conveniently located for sight seeing and is very close to the subway. The hotel staff were very professional, helpful and nice, and the room was very clean and very comfortable. Despite being in a central location, the area is actually quiet and the view in the room of some of Tokyo's famous landmarks and water was gorgeous, especially at night. The hotel has dinning for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although there is no room service. However, being centrally located, and adjacent to a small mall means there are restaurants in the area.

"Would stay here again!"
Was pleasantly surprised by our comfortable stay here. Room was clean and appreciated professional appearance. We had two adults (5'4" and 5'5") and it did feel like we had to dance around each other in the small space (we booked a semi-double room-nonsmoking) but I personally felt that it was rather cozy and didn't mind it. There's just enough space between the bed and bathroom to open the bathroom door and no closet. But we were so exhausted from the day's itinerary that we didn't spend that much time in the hotel anyway. Staff was pleasant, could converse in English, and helpful. Easy access to JR Yamanote line from Hamamatscho station or other railway lines from the Daimon station. Free wifi was a plus, as well as the breakfast for a small fee, since we found many shops don't open until 10-11 am and we were up at 7-8 am due to jetlag. Hotel is close to Family Mart, 7-11, and Sunkus, which are all shops to pick up snacks and beverages. Although we got lost, the sign for the hotel is easy to see, especially since it's lit up at night. If you're heading west from the Hamamatscho Station, cross that big street Daiichi-Keihin, and you'll see Sunkus on your right. Keep walking and turn right right before the Mos Burger. Keep going down ~3 blocks and you'll see the hotel on your left.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Ginza 3 stars Hotels

High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
