"Nice hotel in the heart of the shopping district"
I stayed at the Hotel Gracery for 4 nights for a work trip. The room was very cozy and clean. The staff was pleasant (though they really don't speak English very well - they do make an effort!). The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the Ginza shopping district and is only a few blocks from the metro. The only draw back (which did not affect me) is that there is a massive construction project across the street. Luckily, I was staying in a room on the other side of the building and did not hear it. I absolutely plan to stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo and will recommend that my colleagues do so as well.

"Great location in Ginza"
Hotel is in a great location in Ginza. Close to the major shopping district and to nearby subway stations: Yurakucho, Ginza, Marunochi, and Hibiya lines. The staffs were great and helpful. One of the ladies followed up our hotel pick up taxi to make sure we leave on time for our late afternoon flight. The rooms were clean. We booked twice, since we left for Kyoto in the middle of our trip. The first rooms we got were bigger in size while the second set of rooms were smaller. The pillows were a little hard but overall I would recommend this place.

"Outstanding Location!"
very conveniently located at Shimbashi / Ginza area, with lots of good food and shopping (luxury brands included). Very short walking distance to Shimbashi metro station as well as JR Train Station. The room we took was good for 2 or 3 bedder, however we requested 4 beds hence it was kind of cramp within the room. We love the location and will certainly return here again.

"Excellent location in Ginza"
Lovely modern hotel with friendly english speaking staff. Within 5 minutes walking distance of all the big name and fantastically designed shops. Also 5 mins to subway. This was the last hotel of my stay and all I really wanted to do was some last minute shopping. Close (on subway) to electric town and kitchen town. Department stores in Ginza tend to be bit more expensive than other areas in Tokyo. Dined at Tapas Molecular Bar at the Mandarin Oriental and Sant Pau in Nihombashi (both highly recommended) which were both about 15 minutes away (walking/subway). that is if you have researched what exit on the subway to exit from!! I will stay here again if I am lucky enough to return to Japan.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Ginza 3 stars Hotels

High on opulence and popularity, Ginza was one of the city's first districts to implement Western-style brick buildings and gas lamps. Set in the heart of the city, it is the place for those who don't mind crowds, and serious spenders. But it takes very little to see Asia's largest fish market, a traditional kabuki play, or the latest gadgets at the Sony building.
