Maishima Sports Island Cheap Holidays

Beautiful property - we booked this last minute for a great rate. It is a gorgeous property with spectacular views of Osaka - we stayed in a corner twin room. The restaurants are overpriced but the food and service are wonderful. Great overall location - can walk easily to shopping, Dontonbori and Osaka station.

Clean room. Pleasant staff. Air-conditioning was good. Small kitchenette with dining table and chairs. Walking distance to convenience stores and dotonburi/namba walk. Bathroom contained shower and washer/dryer for clothes which was handy. Plenty of taxi and uber around too.

No A/C but they have fans

Clean and beautiful property. Sound can get loud in the river view but my city view unit had minimal noise. Elevator can be a traffic jam but was a non-issue for me as i left the hotel before 9 and returned late at night. Might be some congestions if you are trying to get out around 10~12pm. Overall very pleased with my stay

Second times here, everything is good but pillow that is so soft.

We enjoyed this hotel very much. Pros- staff was great, nextdoor to Namba Parks shopping and another shopping center with many food choices just less than 3 min walk. Less than 15 min walk to Dontonburi street and the river. All the popular shopping streets. Hotel had good bars and restaurants with amazing views up 30+ floors. Club lounge if you buy. Breakfast buffet was very good if you buy. Had premium corner room on 17th floor. Very well designed, great views, quiet, very clean. Good blackout curtains. Cons -farther away from Shin- Osaka station. If you plan on bullet train / Shinkansen you have to take a JR or local train or longer taxi ride to get to that station. Mattress was a bit too firm for me and wife, and im not that picky, wife is petite and had same complaint. Overall an great hotel if it fits your budget.
