"This is a roadside hotel attached to a restaurant with some nice areas to sit and relax. The owner and staff were super friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. There was no air conditioning, but they provided two fans that did the job. We spent most of our time visiting Pamplona and Vitoria, so we mainly used the hotel as a place to sleep. "We loved our stay here. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful — we could even occasionally hear the donkey nearby. Our room was very spacious (room 203), had a like balcony, spotlessly clean and well maintained, with two single beds and a double sofa bed. Having air conditioning was also a big plus. Parking was easy and we never had trouble finding a space. The location is excellent, only about 15 minutes by car from San Sebastián and a great base for exploring northern Spain, from Bilbao all the way towards the French border. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also decided to have breakfast at the hotel, which at €9 per person was very good value. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back."

Staff member on reception wouldn’t check us in without passports on every guest, which having come from France where everything is more relaxed, this seemed pretty intense.
